The view from the home is impressive as is the pool area. It should be noted that the pool area is in full sun all day with limited access to shade.
This is a large home on three levels with many steps including 16 steps down from the entrance to the property to the front door. The home is located on a steep hill so walking in the area is a challenge, either uphill or downhill. For example there is a public walkway beside the property which consists of 176 stairs and just connects to the road the property is located on.
As for the house itself it is somewhat tired and in need of updating. The couches are covered with sheets, the lighting in the kitchen and master bedroom is woefully inadequate and the linens, including towels have seen better days.
We have stayed in many VRBO properties and normally find basic staples including salt and pepper in the kitchen. This kitchen had only sugar and lacked some basics such as oven mitts and a paring knife.
The property manager Marcelo and his wife were helpful and responsive. Unfortunately they were required to respond too frequently.
