Upon entering, you will find a bright and modern main floor that offers a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed for gourmet cooking. The living room and dining room have an airy, cottage feel and are surrounded by sliding glass doors with gorgeous views. These rooms have been newly furnished. You will also find a beautiful stone fireplace and large flat screen t.v. for your enjoyment. All the sliding doors will lead you to a wrap around deck, complete with an outside dining area and gas grill. The main floor has a laundry room with washer and dryer, full bath and a bedroom with bunk beds. Cable tv, internet access, and land line are provided.
The master suite is the entire third level, complete with a King bed, pull out sofa, sitting area, full bath and its own private balcony over looking the lake and its magnificent views. This is a wonderful place to star gaze in the evening and to bring a cup of coffee and relax in the morning. Amazing sightings of wildlife have occurred. Keep your eyes open for bald eagles and loons!
On our bottom level, you will find a bedroom with a queen bed and half bath. It has its own sliding glass door and patio with seating, and is only 25 feet to the shore and dock. Star gazing and wildlife watching are recommended here too!
A fire pit is at the water's edge. Firewood is provided, but you will need to bring your own marshmallows! The private dock can accommodate up to a 25 foot boat. Lake George is known to be of the most pristine lakes. The water is stunningly clear and incredibly refreshing. Swimming off the dock and water trampoline are favorite activities, as is fishing, snorkeling, and boating. Two kayaks and a canoe are available for use. Kayaking to the Ticonderoga Municipal Town Beach and playground is recommended, it is just a short distance up the shore. If you have your own boat, heading down to the narrows and the many islands of Lake George should not be missed! You can purchase a day pass to picnic on the islands as well. The scenery is stunning.
Exploring beyond Lake George comes with rewards! You can easily venture to numerous hiking trails, ranging from easy family hikes to summiting one of the nearby Adirondack Mountains. Easy day trips include Fort Ticonderoga, the beautiful Champlain Valley, Crown Point, Burlington VT and Lake Placid and more! Weekly rental check in/check out is Saturday to Saturday.
