Lovely Property, stunning views. Shame about the weather.
Travelled up from Greater London. Arrived a week after the snow blizzard up North. Owner allowed us to check in early if we wished. We lost wifi connection on route as some of our journey was very rural. We had to call house manager as we couldn't locate the property in the dark as it is not clearly signed. Luckily we had just past it. Other family member travelled using direction provided by the owner. Unfortunately the final stretch of road to property was closed due to road works/flooding and they had to go all the other way around the lake. Once the struggle to get there was over we entered a beautifully laid out home. It was warm and welcoming and the ground floor bedroom was excellent as one of our party was on crutches. In the morning we opened our curtains to spectacular views from every window. However the weather was against us so we spent most of our stay indoors playing games and watching TV. We left the property wishing we booked a longer stay and would visit the property again to explore the beautiful countryside.
