Trullo and Studio with Private Pool.

A picturesque tarmaced country lane off a main road leads to a gate marking the start of a long lit drive leading to a large lit car park. A lovely five coned trullo and lamie welcome you, with an adjacent self contained studio with separate bathroom and utility room all linked up by an external tile covered colonade, with the large utility cum bathroom in between. The lamie has a fully equipped shower room at the rear of the room. The utility room has a good size bathroom with a shower over a full bath. A wide level terrace lead to a private 40 sq m pool of 1.4 metre uniform depth with a large sun patio surrounded by gardens and trees. Trullo and studio has wood burning stoves and the lamie an open fireplace, and all full aircon. A large south-facing level patio in front of trullo has a sun canopy over outdoor dining area, and an adjacent ball play area. The studio has its own patio overlooking the pool and grounds. Built in BBQ facility at front of trullo, the rear having a large patio with a washing line and cold washing facility.
The property sits in an olive grove of over100 trees giving guests virtually total privacy. The neighbouring trulli are 100 metres away on both sides hidden by trees and shrubs.

L'emplacement de la location est au calme. La piscine est grande et propre. En réservant nous n'avions pas compris que dans la maseria il y a deux espaces nuit séparés par de simples rideaux. Cela fait penser à de petites chambres cabines. Un peu compliqué quand nous sommes 5 adultes. Quant au studio il faut en sortir pour acceder à la salle de bain et aux toilettes. La situation géographique de la propriété est très bien pour découvrir le centre des Pouilles. Martin, le monsieur qui s'occupe de la piscine est sympathique et de bons conseils.

Charmante trullo op een heerlijke locatie
Charmante trullo op een heerlijke rustige locatie met veel grond er omheen. Erg prettig ontvangen door Martin die erg behulpzaam was met tips voor de omgeving. Een heerlijk zwembad. De inrichting en voorzieningen in huis waren o zich prima maar hier en daar was wel wat upgrade nodig. We hebben er een heerlijke tijd gehad.

Ottima soluzione
La location si presenta bene nel complesso. Ristruttura e fornita di tutto il necessario. La zona esterna è fantastica, piscina ampia e giardino molto grande, oltre alla possibilità di parcheggiare in loco. I gestori sono stati molto disponibili e sono intervenuti subito all’occorrenza. La zona è poco distante dal centro di Ceglie Messapica dove si mangia benissimo e in 20 minuti si arriva ad Ostuni.

I TRULLI SONO INCANTEVOLI E LA PISCINA LI RENDE ANCORA PIU' ATTRAENTI. AGGIUNGEREI UN FORNO A LEGNA ESTERNO CHE COMPLETEREBBE LA POSSIBILITA' DI CUCINA ALL'ESTERNO. We in our 50/60s. After lifetime travelling much of Europe, near and far reaches of the world we decided on Italy for our second home but where? Talking with a waiter in Ischia, an island off Naples we asked about Puglia to which he said it's the 'real' Italy! It satisfies our keen interest in culture, food and history, all of which are in inexhaustible supply there. It's also a wonderful and timeless retreat from our busy lives working in the UK with people with disabilities.
Hope you take the chance and share with us for yourselves what a special place Puglia is for recharging your batteries, visit the markets, sample its fantastic cuisine from local produces and meet the people in this hidden corner of Italy.

Why they chose this property

The trullo feels deep in the countryside amongst olive groves, yet it is only two miles from the nearest town. Ceglie is famed for its art and gastronomy, its ducal castle is being restored and the old quarter and plaza is a must to explore!
The two seas are less than an hour to visit. Baroque Lecce an hour by modern trains from Ceglie station.
It has everything we need on hand including a chance to relax in its wonderful climate.

What makes this property unique

The studio is ideal for older children and teenagers who want to sample some independence from their parents but close enough for parents to keep a watchful eye on them! Both properties have all the amenities for all ages, and equal access to the pool.
The grounds are level except for a little dell at the end all safe for youngsters to play. All stone walls are low enough for children to play safety and a 'kinder' tree opposite to the trullo is suitable for climbing, all under parental supervision.
Immediately outside are many farms, lanes and a forest to explore to work up an appetite for a BBQ meal using the built in facility at the trullo.
