Highly recommended
We had a wonderful family (2 children aged 18 & 10) holiday staying at La Residence Rosat in Chateau d'Oex and were all sad to leave. The existing reviews and photos encouraged us to book and we would not hesitate to do so again. The apartment was superb - extremely well equipped and furnished whilst the views from the terrace and balcony were absolutely beautiful. The additional facilities available - gym, great indoor pool (which we never found to be busy), bar, underground parking etc., all enhanced the undoubted quality of the rental. We really appreciated all the information available on walks, places to visit etc., whilst the Lettings Manager was also very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed taking the cable car/chair lift from the village and the walk back down whilst would recommend visiting Gruyere as well as the castle on the shore of Lake Geneva. The apartment is only a short walk from the heart of the village with a good selection of shops, activities and places to eat - the pizzeria being a particular favourite with friendly service and good food at reasonable prices. Overall we couldn't have been more pleased and would have no hesitation in recommending to friends/family - in fact we already have!

Breathtaking views
We stayed at the apartment for a week in July 2015. It was an amazing holiday mainly due to the comfort of the apartment. It had everything you could want whether you wanted to dine in or out on the huge roof terrace which had amazing breathtaking views. I am a keen amateur photographer and some of the shots taken were amazing, (Including hot air balloons, helicopters and a family of Red Kites flying around) The kitchen is equipped very well and has everything like a home from home. The weather was 32 degs when we were there which was lovely to get the breeze on the roof terrace. Chateux D'oex was a lovely town with plenty of restaurants that served good food and wine. We dined out several times and walked down the hill which only took about 5 mins. We played crazy golf, went by cable car to Le Braye, hiked and mountain biked, visited the chocolate factory to name a few. We also used the pool and gym at the apartment which most of the time we were the only ones there. I would recommend this apartment in a heart beat and would love to go again one day.

1st class apartment
We stayed at this apartment in May 2014 and enjoyed our first visit to this beautiful part of Switzerland. The apartment is probably one of the best in the residence as regards balcony and patio aspect and space, enabling breakfast to be taken in the sun on the balcony and evenings watching the sun go down from the patio. Views from both are majestic. The apartment itself is extremely well equipped and spacious. The owners have given a great deal of thought to the comfort of their guests and we found everything to our liking. The pool, sauna and gym facility are simply superb and the high class standard of the building is the best we have seen. We do not return to many places, nor do we normally leave reviews but the village of Chateau d’Oex is a very special place and this apartment deserves the praise. You will not find a better base for this part of Switzerland and we will not be looking anywhere else for our holiday there next year.

Chateau D'Oex
We are a family of five (2 adults, 2 teens and a ten year old) and we had the most fabulous holiday. The apartment was incredibly well equipped as well as being extremely clean and comfortable. It was like a home from home. The views from the balcony of the surrounding mountains were breath taking. Included with the apartment was the use of the sauna, gym and indoor pool, all of which were extremely clean and in excellent condition. The apartment block is very well maintained. The village itself was within a 10 minute walk and had a few restaurants and shops plus mini golf, tennis courts and museums. The 'Golden Pass' railway line stops at Chateau D'Oex, there is also a cable car and ski chair lift into the mountains. We did a lot of walking and found the routes to be very clearly sign posted including the average walking time. We would not hesitate to recommend the apartment or the resort to our family and friends as both were fantastic!

An Amazing Place
This was our first time in Switzeralnd and chose this apartment because of its quality and location, and we were not disappointed. When we approached the apartment block we knew we had made the right choice, and when we got into the apartment this was confirmed. The standard of the apartment is very high, however the views from the 3 balconies just take your breath away. Instead of dining at restaurants which are expensive, we shopped at the local supermarket, made dinner in the well appointed kitchen and sat on the balcony accompanied with a couple of bottle of wine surrounded by spectacular views. Would highly recommend this apartment/location, pool and gym are great. although pool does close at 7pm (a bit too early I feel) loads to do if you have a car, and locals are wonderful. We will be back, might try in winter next time.
