Cabin getaway with dramatic Whiteface mountain views, less than 4 miles from Whiteface Mountain and just 20 minutes from Lake Placid. Located across street from Ausable River and nearby DEC trail to access west branch of river. Wrap around front porch(half of which is covered) and open field great for outdoor activities including fire pit. 3 bedrooms plus a sleeping loft area, 2 bathrooms and walk out lower level. Lower level includes game room( pool table combo), bunk room, bedroom with queen bed and full bathroom. First floor includes well furnished kitchen, beautiful stone fireplace and TV area(blue ray suitable for DVD's and Netflix but no cable), dining area with table for 6(along with breakfast counter)/family room with vaulted ceiling, master bedroom and full bathroom. Loft area includes bedroom with 1 queen and 2 twin beds. Large windows throughout offering dramatic mountain views. Wireless internet offered. Wonderful stay in a cozy cottage - highly recommend
We had an absolutely lovely time in this cozy house. The owners thought of everything - comfort, entertainment, etc . The layout is great, location can't be beat.Our family loved our stay and highly recommend the location.

The house was wondeful and cozy. The issue we had was solved quickly by the owner and he was in constant communication with us. I would definitely stay there again

Overall it was very nice, very close to things to do, quiet and surrounded by woods which was lovely! Had a couple dead mice we found in traps on the mantle that looked like they had been there a while so it could have been a bit cleaner but overall very nice!

We both appreciate the many amenities of the Wilmington/Lake Placid area including hiking, fishing and skiing.
