Peaceful Cabin in the Woods. Hiking & Beautiful Views.

The cabin has two bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. It is located by a small creek and borders the Talladega National Forest. The cabin is close to the Talladega Super Speedway, Cheaha Mountain, and the Pinhoti Trail. (Just 3 miles from the Porter's Gap Trailhead of the Pinhoti Trail.) It is nestled outside of the town of Talladega. Feel free to contact us for more information.

Although there is a wood heater, we ask that you do not use it. There is gas heat and central heat available.
There is a small lake near the cabin which creates a nice atmosphere, but swimming and boating are not allowed due to liability concerns.

Excellent weekend. Accommodations were fabulous. If you love nature, this is the place for your stay! Property owner was readily available, but not needed!

Rest and Relax
We had another wonderful trip to this little cabin in the woods! Located in a very quiet peaceful neighborhood at the end of the road. It over looks a stream that feeds the private lake. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need and with a gas grill on the side porch if you prefer. The furniture is a very comfortable mix of antique and hand made pieces all perfectly arranged.. There’s a beautiful wood stove in the middle for looks alone which is perfect considering the central air and heat keep the cabin more than comfortable. There is hiking close by if you want to go out and about or just stay in and listen to the birds if you prefer. If your looking for peace and quiet you really can’t go wrong with this little cabin in the woods!! We are looking forward to our next stay. Thank you for everything Jerry!

National Forest Turkeys and Crappie Fishing
Our stay for 4 adults was very comfortable. Location was great! Host could not have been more helpful and friendly. 2 of us hunted turkeys in the national forest and 2 others spent time crappie fishing. The fish and turkeys were not cooperative. But the host, house, property, etc. could not have been better. We even backed 2 fishing boats down the drive and had room to park in front of the house. We had a wonderful couple of days!

Very nice cabin in stunning area.
We absolutely loved the cabin in the woods. The views were stunning the cabin was filled with windows giving great views of the woods a stream. Gerald was a very good host and we got the opportunity to meet him on our arrival. He is a really good guy. He did a super job on the cabin's interior wood work, it was just beautiful. The house was equipped very well with amenities. We found a really nice catholic church in Talladego, nice grocery stores and restaurants. We went to Cheaha State Park with breathtaking views . We found that T-mobile phone and 5G internet service worked perfect at the cabin location. We had an awesome restful experience, and would highly recommend it. We will be back in the future.
