We are in the process of a remodel. Interior is complete with all new flooring, new appliances, granite, all new bathrooms, new beds, new pool table and arcade, mostly new furniture etc. The exterior remodel is in process and we are taking reservations for spring and beyond.

UPDATE: Please be aware that our cleaners use bleach and antibacterial products and that the cabin is cleaned thoroughly between each guest. However, if you would like, bring your antibacterial to wipe down surfaces during your stay. Towels and linens are removed for laundering after each guest and clean are brought in.

Staying at a cabin in the mountains is a good way to stay and have fun while "social distancing" from others if that is what you prefer. Enjoy the game room and theater, cook your meals and just relax and enjoy being together. When you want to venture our, take a drive to enjoy the scenery. Also, a secluded cabin is a great place to "work from home".

Mountain, city and wooded views, watch the aerial tram, listen to the babbling brook below. Enjoy the theater room and large game room. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms.

Located in the prestigious and nostalgic Chalet Village community, the chalet is close to Ober Mountain, downtown Gatlinburg, the Great Smoky Mountain National Park entrance and the Pigeon Forge bypass so you can travel between towns without the downtown traffic.

Chalet Village is the premier location in Gatlinburg that families have been coming to for decades and offers three clubhouses with pools, playgrounds and outdoor tennis courts, available seasonally.

At the front of the chalet, you will find parking for four cars and a beautiful, additional living space with comfy seating, a gas fire-pit with adirondack seating and a cooking area with a gas grill. Relax out front and enjoy the peaceful, wooded setting as you watch the aerial tram glide by as it travels to and from Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort.

Step inside this updated log chalet and you will find a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen. Newly remodeled, there are new granite countertops and tile backsplash. There’s plenty of counter space and storage for all of your needs. The kitchen features new, updated, stainless steel appliances including a conventional to convection range so you can cook either way you prefer, an over the range microwave, a dishwasher and a full size refrigerator. You will find all the cookware, dishes and small appliances you need for preparing anything from a quick snack to a large meal. There are two crockpots, plenty of cookware, a blender, electric can opener, 4 slice toaster, Keurig coffee maker and a drip coffee maker (bring your favorite coffee).

The dining room has a new, full size, live edge table with 4 chairs and a bench. There is a large window with a view to enjoy while eating, playing board games or a game of cards.

The living room offers views of Gatlinburg, the mountains, the aerial tram and the woods. A full size, leather sleeper sofa (queen sleeper) and matching leather loveseat offer plenty of room for watching tv or just relaxing in front of the big, wood burning fireplace. (open seasonally) There is also a pub table for extra seating while eating, watching tv or playing cards. The club chair offers a nice place to relax with a good book and a cup of tea, coffee or cocoa.

The deck off the living room has beautiful views and a hot tub to enjoy after a long day of skiing, sightseeing, shopping or hiking.

Also on the main level, there is a king bedroom suite with log furniture and private bath. The bathroom has been completely remodeled with a new vanity and a tiled, walk in shower. Cross to the other side of the chalet on this level and you will find two queen bedrooms with log furniture and a shared bath between that has also been completely remodeled and has a tub with tile surround..

Head downstairs and enjoy a movie or ballgame in the theater room, with comfy theater seating for 8 and a sofa (with queen sleeper) to relax on. With Charter cable, Netflix and a blueray player, there is no limit to the entertainment you can watch on the big screen.

The spacious game room has a new pool table, air hockey, a brand new arcade, large flat screen tv and a pub table with seating for four, great for enjoying card games.

There is also a spacious, king bedroom suite with private bathroom that has been completely remodeled with new vanity and tiled, walk in shower on this level.

A large laundry room and a balcony with a view round out the downstairs living area.
