About Casa Wurster
This sprawling Caribbean hillside has changed dramatically over the years. The original house on the property was built in 1939 as a summer home by President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s overseer of federal funds that were being invested in Puerto Rico. Our family purchased the property in 1958 to enjoy warm winters away from our home in Indiana. The land was primarily used as a ranch we began to develop the property in the 1980’s and subdivide the land into individual home sites. The addition of a private road winding up through the hillside allows for easy access to the top of the property where the panoramic views of the Caribbean and mountains are breathtaking. Since the 1950’s, four generations of the Wurster family from Indiana, California, and Washington state have enjoyed this beautiful slice of paradise. We have recently opened the property to renters so that others can share in the beauty and local culture of Puerto Rico.

Great place to unwind!!
We went for a breast cancer awareness charity softball tournament and we had a blast most of us have been to Puerto Rico before and That house definitely gave off a blissful vibe!! I would definitely stay again
Awesome host! Right on the beach!
Hector, the host, was kind and accommodating. He sent us some great info and tips about Puerto Rico prior to arriving. This was so helpful in planning our trip! The house was spacious and clean. We loved being right on the beach! It is a bit of a drive to many of the excursions we did, but we would still highly recommend this house!
Beach Bliss experience
This was or first time at this property and our experience was fantastic. Hector was awesome. He was available and very responsive to all our request. There were some hiccups but he was able to address most very quickly.
The homes are very well stocked in equipment and consumables. The grounds are very nicely kept by the staff. I found this to be an operation in PR by American standards. A welcome practice to other business in PR.
Found the street level noise to be very loud at times. Not sure how this can be addressed. During the holiday the beach noise level was also high.
All in all it was a very nice experience and my family had an excellent time in Casa Wuerster
Beautiful house on the beach!
Thank you for having Jack, Josh the kids, and myself at your vacation rental home. It was so nice bringing the family together at such a beautiful location. I know the children will cherish the memories we created. The kids are already asking when we can return so they can build more sand castles and swim at the beach anytime of the day. Our concierge Hector was so helpful, kind and always at our service if we needed him for anything!!! He is an amazing person and made us feel like a million bucks!
Thank you again for having us. I look forward to planning more visits in the near future at the Casa Wurster.
God Bless and Take Care,
Damaris from Coatesville, PA
We will be back!
Can't say enough about how PERFECT our week was at Beach Bliss! Hector was very responsive and helped us with anything we needed. The house itself is beautiful, the covered porch was where we spent most of our days. The beach is literally your front yard and the first day we had 2 manatees come swim near us! A once in a lifetime moment for sure! The pool is a very short walk across the street and even though it is shared with other properties we almost always had it to ourselves. Some other reviews mention noise from the road... the property is just off a pretty busy road and traffic picked up significantly on the weekend but I can honestly say road noise didn't bother us a bit. The sound of the waves crashing easily drowns out traffic noise except for the occasional big truck or car with an enhanced sound system.
There is a cute little restaurant and bar about 900 feet down the road called Aqua Salada that we enjoyed more than once. Fish tacos were the best I may have ever had and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Definitely worth the 90 minute drive from San Juan to have your own piece of paradise! We can't wait to come back!
