Great location and property but a bit sparsely equipped
Small, compact, convenient, economical, and all you really need for 1-2 people, but too sparsely equipped. We (father / college age son) booked this trip only about 3 weeks in advance and were glad to find this property available for our planned dates (4 nights). I’ve previously stayed at Westgate Canyons and the convenience and basic building amenities (including small market/convenience store onsite) are hard to beat at this price range. I have health/dietary restrictions and always try to have a kitchen at my stays, and that is a primary reason for booking here. For our first day we stopped on the way there to pickup some groceries. When we arrived, to my surprise, the full efficiency size kitchen, had only a couple of very old, highly abused (peeling nonstick) pot and pan for the stovetop, and zero cooking utensils (no spatula, cooking spoon, etc) and no pan to use in the oven. Great to have an oven but not an oven with no pan. Contacted owner / PM and they had an oven pan dropped off the next day, but had to change plans that first needed gyy but and go out with no reservations and find dinner. The VRBO app was also glitching for the messaging function.
In summary, would have been 5 stars with a couple of hundred $’s spent on outfitting the kitchen to match the listing description.
