Great for Area Visitor, esp. Downtown / University: Very close to downtown Minneapolis.

On the west edge of Uptown District, close to West End Shoppes, Knollwood Shoppes, Restaurant and Entertainment Districts and Excelsior and Grand Shopping and Restaurant District. Directly west of Minneapolis chain of lakes. Convenient to the University of Minnesota.

Close to all the cultural and recreational activities Minneapolis offers. Location is across the street from both express bus to Downtown and LOCAL bus line to Downtown, Lakes District, Uptown District, Arts District.

It is possible to attend a conference or trade show at the Convention Center more easily here than staying at some downtown hotels. Excellent for visiting Professionals. Excellent for visiting University staff or professors.

Located two miles west of the Minneapolis chain of lakes. Many recreational activities available at the chain of lakes. See Minneapolis Parks website for Lake Calhoun, Lake Harriet, Lake of the Isles, Cedar Lake, etc.

St. Louis Park city park two blocks away offers tennis, playground, ball fields.

Almost all major cultural resources are easily accessible by bus and of course car.

Walker Art Center, Minneapolis Institute of Arts, University of Minnesota Weisman Museum, Swedish Institute, Pavek Museum, etc.

Two major restaurant areas are within two miles. To the north West End shoppes feature Yardhouse with 175 beers on tap, Crave, Rojo, Coopers, Loop, etc. To the East the Lakes and Uptown start with Burger Jones, Yum!, Vescio's, etc.

Walk to two coffee shops in one block! Caribou & Vitali's Bistro.

Nice old charm with modern updates

Pretty interior, comfortable beds, great kitchen. Backyard could use a good clean up and gas grill wasn't working. Location was very convenient.

Not well maintained

Started out with a call from Scott saying they had double booked our reservation for the first night. So after 2 nights in an adjacent property we had to move our 16 person group. The house was spacious and well located but poorly maintained. Junk everywhere in the basement area and outside. Stuff that was dangerous for little kids. After a rainstorm the basement area had lots of water on the floor making it unusable so we were short one sleeping area. Informed Scott about this but got no response

We had trouble obtaining keys and had to leave the house unlocked

Generally they seemed very disorganized

Fantastic Stay!

The house was spacious and easily accommodated our large group. Located in a very safe neighborhood with access to trails and only a short drive from the city center, would highly recommend!
