Located at the end of a dead end street, literally minutes from Historic Old Town, one of the nicest places to spend time in Albuquerque, our comfortable home has a large fully stocked Kitchen, and comfy living room has a wonderful wood stove to enjoy as well as a 40" Roku TV. The master bedroom with adjoining master bath, has a Queen memory foam bed. The second bedroom has a second queen bed or can be changed to 2 single beds depending on your needs. We are pet friendly, and our home also has a large enclosed patio off the side with gas BBQ grill and Patio Table to enjoy.

Wonderful Long-Term Rental

I rented this place furnished for six months, and I loved it. Rich is a responsive, very kind landlord who answered my texts and calls promptly. I had no issues with the home - It's in great condition, every imaginable amenity is included (dishes, towels, sheets, etc.), all of the appliances worked well, and it's located at the end of a very quiet street (great neighbors too!). I would highly recommend this place - or any of Rich's other rental units - if you're looking to stay in Albuquerque and Old Town.

Great place!

Two of us stayed here for over five weeks! We so loved the location. We walked to Old Town and the surrounding areas almost every day. So fun to walk to great restaurants and to see the luminaries on Christmas Eve. The home was great. Rich has it decorated so well. He likes to create spaces and it shows! The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Nice to have the washer and dryer there too. And maybe most importantly, Rich is wonderful. Always returned phone calls promptly. We only had one concern about the TV and he was over that day to fix it. I would highly recommend this home. Hope to return to Albuquerque some day and stay here again.

COULD NOT ASK FOR MORE!

My name is Bernice Padilla, I stayed at the home on Clair St from the 4th of January to that following Saturday! I could not ask for anything better! First off lets start with Rich! Super kind. Returned calls and was so attentive! Then the home! Clean, everything I could possibly want or need for my stay was there! from Towels to dishes to TP! Washer Dryer! Everything worked. Everything was clean! Love Loved Loved it! I will never rent a hotel again, while in Albuquerque! Recommend to anyone and everyone!

About Rich Bowditch

I have lived in Albuquerque for 25 years, having moved here to escape the cold of the northeast. Over the years I have purchased and renovated numerous properties, and currently manage 8 other fully furnished short term rental apartments and/or homes in Albuquerque, having hosted over 300 stays in my places since I began in 2009.

I really enjoy creating comfortable unique spaces for people to stay, that my guests perceive as an exceptional value. It has been a fun "expression" for me.

Why Rich Bowditch chose Sawmill Area

In my opinion, the main feature of this home is it's location. It is so close..literally a 2 min drive or 12 minute walk to the very aesthetically appealing Old Town area with it's unique old adobe architecture and feel, central plaza with Indian merchants, and music stand. It also has so many great restaurants and shops to explore. The home is also centrally located to get anywhere in Albuquerque, just 8/10ths of a mile from I-40, and easy access to downtown Albuquerque. I love it's centrality, and feel of the area.

What makes this house unique

I like the privacy and being at the end of the street…the neighborhood is quiet, and the home is a nice place to return to. You enter through the patio, which is east facing and a nice place to enjoy the morning sun for breakfast, or afternoon shade of summer. The floor plan is very usable, with very large kitchen, with adjoining dining area. The living room is super comfy with big sofa and recliner to enjoy a nice wood fire in our soapstone wood stove, or watch something interesting on our brand new 40 inch ROKU TV. The decor is southwest with tiled floors and oriental rugs in the halls and bedrooms, and each bathroom

is tastefully tiled with traditional hand painted mexican tile which I really like.
