Away from the noise and concrete of downtown and located just a few blocks from Vancouver’s vibrant Main St., come enjoy our brand new 2BR, 2 bathroom guest house with a large patio set amid beautiful gardens in a quiet tree lined street. Buttercup guesthouse sleeps up to 4 people and we welcome families travelling with children or small pets (please let us know at time of booking as restrictions may apply). We are located 3 km from downtown and just 4 blocks from King Edward subway station with direct line to downtown Vancouver, Convention Centre and Vancouver International Airport(YVR). Bus line to UBC is only 2 blocks away and we are a pleasant 20 minute walk to VGH, Children’s and Womens’ hospitals. Off street parking is also available for your car.

Buttercup guesthouse is brand new and impeccably designed and decorated with all the comforts and amenities of home. We offer a fully appointed kitchen, laundry facilities, bath and shower amenities; HDTV , wireless internet (WIFI), Netflix, and land line phone with free local calls. Two bedrooms with comfortable queen sized beds are provided, along with baby highchair, playpen/cot, infant change area, baby monitor, and fold out bed for that extra person , if needed.

For the sports minded we have secure storage outside space for your valuable skis, snow boards, bicycles, etc. No bikes inside the house, please.

Minimum stay is 30 nights.

Beautiful guest house with every amenity provided in a prime location!

We loved our stay at this very comfortable and central guest house. They have stocked it with everything you can possibly need including muffins, fruit, milk, rain ponchos and an umbrella! There is heating that comes through the floor and warms your bare feet, a fancy ventilation system, and a faux fireplace for ambiance! They even have a dishwasher and washer/dryer! Our 19 year old son took over the upstairs with his own bedroom, bathroom and desk space in the loft while we had our own space downstairs. There is also a nice patio area with its own BBQ and a dedicated parking space. The owners are friendly but not intrusive. Beautifully decorated and very close to activities and restaurants, this place is fabulous!!! Would definitely stay here again!

A Wonderful Lane House in Cambie Village,Vancouver,BC.

We rented the Buttercup for the entire month of February this year and had a grand time.Lots of room for visitors and all the amenities.Super neat and well provisioned.Great location close to both Cambie and Main Streets with excellent restaurants and shopping.A ten minute walk to the Canada Line for access to downtown and the airport.This was our second stay and we will definitely be back.John & Jeanne from Simcoe County,ON.

Great Location and Owners were nice to deal with!

We couldn’t have been happier with the Buttercup house. It was close to everywhere we needed to be. Loved the muffins on arrival! So thankful they had a washing machine after a suitcase item broke and soaked my clothing....

Property was pretty, the design and decoration of the house was fanatastic. We did find both beds a wee bit on the hard side, but we had no trouble sleeping on them. Would book here again if going to Vancouver!

Better than being at home!

Beautifully appointed "cottage" in convenient Vancouver location. Owners generously provide fruit, coffee and muffins upon arrival. Size and layout of home work well for two couples. Can't wait to go back!

Absolutely over the top.

This place has everything you need while you are there. The owners are very pleasant and helpful in case you need them but stay out of your way so your experience is private. Everything is new and makes you feel like you are in one of those makeover places on the TV shows. Except it is a new build. Cook your own meals, watch TV, cruise the internet, relax inside or on the private deck with the BBQ. Two bedroom and two bath is just great. The little touches of class by the owners make this place stand out even more. When you leave you leave with the feeling that you want go go back again.
