3Br, 2Ba, Canal Front Home In Much Sought After Punta Gorda Isles.

My husband and I purchased this house in 2015 as our eventual retirement home.

We consider it paradise to be in beautiful Historic Punta Gorda Isles on the water with a dock and 10 minutes to open water. This is coastal living at its best with all boating, sailing, fishing, swimming, golf, shopping, restaurants and nightlife close by. You can bike to Fisherman's Village, downtown Historic Punta Gorda, parks, marina's, farmers market and much more. There is always a festival going on in Punta Gorda, so be sure to take the time to enjoy them.

This is a cul-de-sac home in a quiet neighborhood. The living room and family room (or what we call man cave) are extremely spacious. The master bedroom, man cave, kitchen, dining room and second bedroom have views of the surrounding waterway.

The home contains all new stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, brand new carpets and tile, as well as a homey but beach motif. We selected all the furnishings that we would want to have if we lived there full time, as we will someday. This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home that sleeps 6 privately and comfortably. The master is a king room, the second bedroom is a queen room and the third bedroom is furnished with 2 twin beds. There are pocket doors throughout and that separate the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms from the master suite to create a completely private suite.

Our backyard is canal front with a newly added 41' dock which our guests are welcome to use should you have a boat with you.

In April 2017 we will be adding a custom designed heated pool with led lighting to further enhance our guest's relaxation and enjoyment.

The house is fully equipped with all kitchen needs and accessories, linens, bath towels, beach towels, table clothes, cloth napkins, place mats for all seasons and entertaining needs etc. etc. You truly just need to bring your clothes!

Picture this, sitting on the back lanai with the ceiling fan on low, enjoying your coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening . . . it is certainly our favorite place to be. The water view is amazing and sound of "peace" is refreshing. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.

Rob and I have raised 4 children, 3 girls and a boy. We have three grandchildren so far and are looking forward to many more. We are avid boaters and are members of the US Power Squadron as such. We live in Central Florida because, unfortunately for us, we still have to work. LOL. Our boating experience is east coast intracoastal waterways, Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico and inland lakes and rivers. We own a 19' Chaparral and a 33' SeaRay.

We are well versed in the PGI area, as well as, Central Florida and in between, should you want to plan an amusement park getaway. As you can imagine, with 4 children we have frequented the parks and surrounding areas.

Why Rob and Toni Gibbs chose Punta Gorda

Rob and I were on vacation in August 2015, staying at Fisherman's Village. We had our 19' Chaparral with us so we decided to explore the canal homes. And so it begins. We had been to the west coast before and had hoped to retire to Marco Island some day. Until we saw Punta Gorda, and more specifically, Punta Gorda Isles. Canal homes (check), located near Historic Downtown (check), great non-chain restaurants (check), nightlife (check), small boutique shopping (check), and so on. We love the downtown area, as it provides the center for fantastic festivals, and all of the above, while remaining very charming and "old world Florida". And yes, we are just minutes away by car, bike or a nice stroll.

After exploring by boat, we called a Realtor. Went to view a few houses and found this one. Canal front, perfect size, on a cul-de-sac and just "the perfect Beach House".

What makes this house unique

You can fish off the back dock. You have a 41' dock, should you have a boat you'd like to bring. You'll have a new 2017 heated custom designed heated pool. Cul-de-sac home for a quiet street and neighborhood. All brand new furnishings and stainless steel appliances. All new fixtures, tile and carpeting. This house was completely remodeled in 2015, inside and out. Enjoy the feel of a brand new house. Minutes from downtown Punta Gorda and a short drive to Port Charlotte, Sanibel Island and Fort Meyers.

Wonderful Vacation!

We enjoyed staying in your lovely home. Everything was sparkling clean and we enjoyed all the interesting decor. We spent hours sitting on the attractive lanai and then going for a swim in your beautiful new pool. We’ve stayed in other homes in Punta Gorda over the years but your home is A+. We plan on coming back next year.

Perfect house for 2 couples!

We loved the house - it was perfect for 2 couples as it had a split bedroom design for lots of privacy. The salt water pool was wonderful with no chlorine type chemicals. Great kitchen and outdoor dining space. We loved sitting out in the lanai and watching the fish jump in the canal.

Amazing home!

We had a fabulous time! The house is everything that you see here. It is clean and inviting. The pool is amazing! We really enjoyed sitting on the Lania in the mornings. We didn’t want to leave! Ron and Toni are great! We didn’t have any issues. I wil definitely be spending another vacation here.

Punta Gorda Isles is a small community tucked into Punta Gorda Florida. It is a waterfront community with canal homes. It is quiet, peaceful and truly old Florida. With a 5 minute car ride or pleasant walk, you are in downtown Punta Gorda. A historic village with great restaurants, bars and fantastic nightlife. And don't forget the shopping! All small shops. No chains.
