The house can accommodate large groups of fisherman or a couple wanting to have a relaxing get-a-way for two. The house has an open concept layout with a large main room with a kitchen, dining area, and living room. Vaulted ceilings give the cabin a roomy feel even with a large group. There is a wrap-around concrete front porch with Adirondack chairs so you can enjoy the great views or star gaze at night.
There is no reliable cell service at house. There is no internet at house. You can get full bars on your phone if you drive upstream towards Lone Tree Fish Access. Depending on service provider, you might be able to text outside the house.
There are 3 bedrooms. One bedroom is a Queen Master Suite with an attached bathroom (tub and shower). This room sleeps 2 on a bed. To increase capacity in this room you could use the air mattress (provided). The second bedroom has 2 sets of full sized bunk beds. You could sleep 2 on each of the bottom bunks and 1 on top for a max of 6. The third bedroom has a Queen bed that sleeps 2.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need to cook meals away from home: fridge, microwave, stove, dishwasher, coffee pot, toaster, pots and pans, utensils, baking dishes, plates, mugs, cups, and wine glasses. Just outside the kitchen is a long Island with bar stools.
The living room has 2 couches, 2 leather recliners, and a TV with a DVD player. There is no cable or satellite television. We have several DVDs ranging from fishing, to action, to romance.
There is a mudroom for your wet and muddy fishing gear and waders. A rod rack sits on the main wall and can hold over 10 rods! The utility room has a stacked front loading washer and dryer if you need to do laundry during your stay.
The house is heated and cooled through a geothermal system so despite the weather you will be comfortable. Every room has windows that can be opened so you can fill the cabin with fresh mountain air.
Please contact the owner for pricing options for 2 anglers. A reduced rate is possible depending on the number in your party.

There are a lot of rentals along the Missouri but few of them get you this close to Craig! You can drive to Craig in less than 5 minutes but after a day of fishing or kayaking in the river, you can "get away" from the noise of the interstate and the frontage road and enjoy amazing views and quiet solitude.
The cabin is located less than a half mile from the Missouri River on 20 acres of grassland. From the cabin, you can walk to the Missouri River and access several wading locations to wet a line. The property is adjacent to a section of state land that you can use for hiking and wildlife viewing. From the front porch you have beautiful panoramic views of the Big Belt Mountain Range.
The cabin is located close enough to boat ramps to make fishing adventures easy (less than 5 minutes to the Craig, Stickney Creek, Dearborn and Spite Hill ramps) but far enough away from the highway so you can relax and get away from it all.
Location is 45 miles from two of Montana's larger cities: Helena and Great Falls (both have airports).
Do not Google the address. We are located up the hill from the Missouri River Lodge off the Craig Frontage Road.
