Rejuvenate Your Spirit At This Private Studio Near Downtown Nevada City

This quiet retreat will rejuvenate your spirit. A previous single garage, this artist-created studio, complete with full kitchen (dishwasher, full size refrigerator), tiled bathroom with shower, and queen-size bed. Bohemian. Eclectic. Artsy. Fun.
We do take one-night reservations ONLY: if it's up against another reservation OR 3 nights out.
During the month of May 2023 - give or take a few days - we will be renting this space for a 30 day period, possibly with an extension of a second 30 days. $2000 including utilities, for only ONE/1 person maximum. Please inquire.
Only registered guests (maximum 2) are allowed on the property, for 2 reasons: COVID and we like a very quiet environment (we live next door). Sorry; if you want to entertain, this is not the place. You have a wonderful private backyard surrounded by a wooden fence and bamboo. We ask that you not talk on your phone outside also.
No pets; no visiting pets. Entirely non-smoking environment. No children.
Roku is our form of TV—WiFi streaming with many channels available. Sports channels are available but might cost a fee to watch some of the nightly competitive games.

Nevada City is an artsy town that you'll love exploring. You can walk to town (about 15 minutes) via several different paths or sidewalks.
Please do not park or enter property until 3pm. Our cleaners have rule between 11-3; so please leave promptly before 11:00.

Great Little Cottage
Cozy little cottage. Great communications with host during booking, and provided clear instructions about everything. Very quiet and restful, and had a great little outdoor area to relax in. Didn't use the kitchen area but seemed well equipped.

Cozy studio
The studio has everything you need for a comfortable stay for 1 or 2 people: full kitchen, spacious bathroom, sitting area with 2 chairs, and dining counter with 2 bar stools. There is a private garden space directly outside the french doors that serve as the entrance to the unit. The access to the studio is through a side gate with a gravel walkway and some steps, so for those with mobility issues it might not be a great fit. 5 minutes' drive into Nevada City, but in a quiet location. Although there are motion-activated lights, it's helpful to have a flashlight when coming and going after dark. I'd be happy to stay again when in the area - it's a charming and cozy studio.

Enchanting and Peaceful
Connie's Art Studio was a wonderful stay ~ perfect nights sleep, close to wonderful restaurants and shopping, and all the amenities a person needs. The outside courtyard is a perfect relaxed setting, and both indoor and outdoor decor beautiful, peaceful and meaningful. Thanks for a wonderful stay Connie!
