Located At Base Of Blackcomb With Views, Ski Valet, Hot Tubs & Pool

Our penthouse condo suite is perfect for a large family or friends. It is located at the base of Blackcomb Mt and a short walk to Whistler Village. You'll be close enough to the slopes that you can almost touch the chair lift!

This listing is for our condo that is located on the very end of the 4th floor so you will not hear noise from people walk up and down the hallway.

We have converted the one bedroom into two sleeping quarters. The living room now functions as a bedroom at night and a comfortable lounge area in the day positioned right in front of a brand new 50” flat screen. The bunk bed has a twin mattress on top and a full size on the bottom allowing for two to sleep comfortably on the bottom. The day bed doubles as a bed for when it's time to get some shut eye and as a sofa during the day time adorned with large pillows for your family to lounge around watching TV in comfort. A trundle is located below the day bed giving more sleeping options.

The bedroom has a brand new queen bed giving parents or couples privacy at night. There is entrance to the balcony from both rooms.

The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is tiled in real marble, and the fireplace will keep you and your family toasty. The private balcony with BBQ, table and chairs gives you the option of grilling.

It is truly a treat to be situated in the prime position in Whistler and either partake in the activities or enjoy watching people ski down the mountain and enjoying their time while relaxing from the comfort of a deck drinking wine or hot chocolate.

Please keep in mind that the living room is not separate but still plenty of room so you will not feel crowded. We have made the living room have two functions so that families can sleep more kids comfortably. I'll be happy to send more photos of the condo, the property and Whistler. Just please let me know if you would like more before making your decision.

My husband and I love Whistler and plan to retire their one day. While we work in New York we decided to rent out properties so that others may enjoy them as much as we do. It brings us great pleasure to hear stories from guests how much they have enjoyed their family vacation while staying at our homes.

We also have a beautiful, charming cabin in Port Angeles right on Lake Sutherland with private access to the beach. And another property on Bainbridge Island that is absolutely breathtaking, also on a private beach with views of Seattle. Why Emilia Heckman chose Upper Village

This is by far the best property in Whistler. My husband and I have eyed it while going on the Wizard chair lift and kept inquiring about it, waiting for it to go on sale. Once it did, we did not hesitate! After another few years we bought the property next door for our kids and family to enjoy. We have renovated and continue to pour love into our two condos. The other condos in the Aspens and surrounding complex buildings are not of high quality as ours. We have rented other properties for our friends and I can assure you that most of them are not updated and in need of renovations.

What makes this condo unique

This is by far the best views on Backcomb. You can of course stay on the Whistler Mountain side, but you will also get the noise from the bars and overly crowded at times. Not only are we a TRUE ski-in/ski out condo, our building offers ski valet, ski/snowboard shop to rent your equipment so you are not running into town with your group and hauling equipment, a fitness center, large heated pool, three newly renovated hot tubs, newly renovated hallways, secure underground parking, walking distance to restaurants, bars and Fairmont Hotel that offers superior dining, live music and shopping. And not to worry, if you want to ride Whistler Mountain, just ride from the entrance of our complex to the base of Backcomb, pick up your ski pass, ride the Wizard Express to the Peak to Peak Gondola to Whistler while taking in the views (the longest Gondola in the world)!

Perfect location, true ski-in & ski-out property, plenty of beds, great hot tub & pool

This property is a true ski-in ski-out location; we could watch the skiers and ski lift right outside our window and balcony. The condo is a cozy place with plenty of beds (we are a family of 5, but there is room for 6!). The hot tubs and pool were great! Underground parking was easily accessible. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back again! (Only con was that laundry machine and dryer are not in the unit, but was in the building, and we had to find Canadian money to run it)

Great location and condo

We have stayed in Whistler-Blackcomb for the past four years. This was a great location and use of space. A few updates will make it outstanding - blinds in the main living space given it's secondary use as a bedroom and a shower handle for quick showers. That said? Loved staying here and hope to again.

Pretty sure it was listed as a 2 bedroom.

It was lists as a 2 bedroom but was only a one bedroom. The first day we got their the shower water was cold and the heater was not really warming up so I emailed the owner and she never answered. We had 5 people and they only left 3 rolls of toilet paper and 1 paper towel so we had to go out and buy more. There were no curtains on the sliding doors so people would be able to see in. It's was fairly clean. Little disappointing.

It is a great place for a family to stay.

It is a nice location to be able to ski out to Blackcomb. Only a 10-15 minute walk to Whislter Village. Overall a nice place to stay. It has private room for parents with beds in the living room for kids. It has a nice view of the hill. Very friendly front desk staff. The unit is across from an exit which will take you down to the pools and hot tub. Also very convienent with Whistler Blackcomb rentals located in the Aspens.

Cozy ski in/ski out - highly recommended

I was very happy with this booking! The owner was very quick in her email responses and she was very personable! The directions to the condo and access to the condo was perfect. I was very impressed. The kitchen had everything that we needed, even cooking ingredients that I didn't realize that I forgot to bring up. The ski valet was great and the ski in/ski out entrance was the closest one to the bottom of the mountain, so this was very convenient to walk into the Upper Village (2 minutes walking) and Whistler Village (about 15 minutes walking). The ski shop in the Aspens was really convenient, so make sure to rent your equipment before you come to the resort. You can get your lift tickets at the bottom of the mountain. The swimming pool and 3 hot tubs were really nice! Great way to meet people! The Aspens front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. This condo also had an electric grill, which was awesome for steak dinners and hanging out on the balcony. There are two entrances to the balcony. The TV/cable worked great! The parking garage was easy and convenient, but make sure to park at the end of the parking garage near spot 120, which is right by the elevator. This condo even has 5 sleds that can be used! Fireplace in the condo. The price of the condo was high, but it was still considered a value compared to other condos available. If you are looking for a wonderfully managed ski in/ski out condo for 6 people, and you are looking for a great value, make sure to book this unit right away.

Areas to improve on - This condo is smaller than I expected and it will definitely not fit 9 people as advertised in the listing. Parking was increased to $17/day but apparently owners have to pay for parking too when they stay in their units. There were times when swimming towels ran out at the front desk, so make sure to get them early and reuse them responsibly. This unit has only one bathroom, which was tough for 6 people. Internet connection was dropped at times. I'm not sure why this was the case. The kitchen is a little narrow, but it was easy to serve food on the bar/counter. There is no breakfast or activity area at the resort. There is no dining room table in this unit. You have to squeeze 4 people in at the bar or eat while standing or sitting on a bed. The balcony is only big enough for about 3-4 people. There is no TV in the main bedroom.
