One of the best units in the Polar Peaks Lodges being offered for the first time by its owners. Luxury accommodation and custom woodwork throughout by River City Woodworks makes this a very special unit which the owners are happy to share with those who appreciate and respect lovely surroundings.

Enjoy the best of both worlds - the seclusion of Polar Peak Lodges nestled among the tall pines while the convenience of ski-in accommodation.

Want a luxury experience while skiing? This mountainside town home is beautifully appointed. The decor is a combination of south west (bright colours) and tribal, with personal touches from all over the world.

On the main floor, there is built-in seating in the living and dining areas crafted by River City and upholstered by the original owner in Tibetan tribal rugs. These seating areas are on either side of a slate stone gas fireplace.

Enjoy cooking? The gourmet kitchen with its open blue cabinetry and Mexican tile floor is well equipped and features a Garland stove. The original owners liked open cupboards where colours predominate, and we love it as well. Plus it's easy to take things out of the cupboards!

How many can stay here? The unit features two kings and two queens - so eight or fewer guests.

On the upper level there is a a spacious master bedroom with ensuite and walk-in closet. Relax in its captain king bed with drawers beneath. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom and feature queen beds, one also a captain bed. Another sleeping area is on the lower level and features a king bed with separate bath.

Enjoy entertainment? In the lower level is a 48 inch flat screen with surround sound. But don't forget en route downstairs to identify all the stone animals in the wonderful print by Peterborough artist Brian Richardson.

Bits and pieces from all parts of our lives adorn this special place we call our western home.

Everything you could possibly need

Very luxurious condo - walk to the lift, ski back to the condo - very convenient. Beautifully furnished with an wonderful semi-private space in the basement. Big dining room table, hot tub on the main floor, cook's kitchen. Nice towels and linens. Great customer service by the owner. Highly recommended.

Fernie Polar Peak Excellence

Wow! This place is nice. You are clearly settling into a place that feels like home. It looks new, is very clean and modern, and has a very well furnished kitchen, including many of those little things like dozens of spices that you would likely forego otherwise. It is a short walk on a wooded path to the lifts, and skiing back is a breeze. Puppies on the trail and squirrels in the trees.

Awesome Accomodations

Thank you for allowing us to rent your beautifully appointed condo. We enjoyed the interesting decor - everyone found the monkey - eventually(or so we think). Cooking was made easy in your well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the many amenities (hot tub, fireplace, spacious bedrooms and numerous bathrooms) that your unit had to offer. The skiing was good and we had a great family holiday.

Excellent Place

Our group of 5 older men, 65 and up, really enjoyed this place. We did almost all our own cooking. The kitchen is superb, everything one needs for cooking and more.There is a lot of space, rooms are large, beds were excellent and the place was immaculate.

It is true ski in, ski out involves a short walk back to a run near the Timber lift. We would be very happy to stay here again.

Grwat Accomodation

This is a great property that is very comfortable a modest size group. The kitchen has everything needed to cook comfortable and the dining area is wonderfully cozy and the perfect spot to hang out and enjoy a good meal with friends & family.

All the rooms are well appointed with everything one needs and the unit is set up against the tree's which makes the unit feel like your in the forest and right on the mountain.

I love the unit and would stay here again the next time I visit.

Wonderful property with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Thoughtfully appointed kitchen. Kids enjoyed having their own space in the lower level to hang out in after skiing. Bluetooth speakers were definitely a bonus. Location was excellent and extremely private. Enjoyed the new hot tub.
