About the property

3 Bedroom, 3 Bath Condo With 2 Gated Parking Spots In Secure Building

**Security cameras monitor all entrances 24/7. Additional fees apply to more than 6 guests. Upfront honesty about the number of guests is appreciated and cheaper. NO smoking, pets, parties or events of any kind.**

One night rentals Monday through Wednesday only. One night rentals Thursday through Sunday will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The neighborhood has a family-friendly event the last Friday of every month called Trolley Night. If you are sensitive to noise or do not want to be disturbed prior to 10pm, I would choose another location if the dates of your trip fall on the last Friday of the month. The streets are bustling with live music and pedestrians from 6-10pm during this event. It's a great local experience!

No cancellation refunds for bookings during holidays or special events.

This is a residential unit with a residential water heater. Like with your home, if 3 or more people take back-to-back hot showers, you will run out of hot water. I recommend guests stagger their shower times to avoid running out of hot water. It can take approximately an hour for a full tank to reheat.

About Stephanie Cobb - Cobb Properties LLC

Hi there! My name is Stephanie. I am from the Memphis area and have lived downtown since 2007. I am a proud Memphian and love so many things about this city, especially the downtown area. If you have never been to Memphis and would like some advice from a local, please feel free to call, text or email any time. I'd love to give you suggestions on things to do while you're here!

Stephanie Cobb - Cobb Properties LLC purchased this condo in 2015

Why Stephanie Cobb - Cobb Properties LLC chose Downtown

As I mentioned, I have lived downtown since 2007. I also sell real estate primarily in the downtown area because it's the area I know and love best. I came across this property when it was a fixer-upper. I saw its potential and knew the value of the location so I bought it, renovated it and now here we are! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

What makes this condo unique

I fell in love with this place because of its location and unique layout. I like non-traditional architecture and this place is definitely non-traditional. I also love that it overlooks South Main Street which is my favorite area of downtown. Some of my favorite spots are right outside the door - Bluff City Coffee, Earnestine and Hazel's, Rizzo's Diner, Central BBQ and The Blue Monkey to name a few.

Great Location

  • 5 of 5

The condo was everything that the description stated. Stephanie was so easy to work with. Thank you so much! Accommodated 6 adults very comfortably and had all the conveniences of home. Definitely a safe location. Unfortunately, the trolley was/is down for repair for the remainder of the year. However, felt very comfortable walking to and from Beale Street and other places. I haven't been to Memphis in over 5 years. It's so great to see all the improvements that have been made. The Civil Rights Museum is less than one block away which is definitely a "must visit". Very moving. Beale Street is just a few blocks away and in walking distance. Lots of fun! Front Street has several nice restaurants and local shops. Would highly recommend Central BBQ, Gus's Chicken, Ms. Polly's and the Green Beetle which is the oldest tavern in Memphis. Would definitely stay in this beautiful condo again. Fun weekend had by all. Thanks Stephanie!

Owner's Response: I'm glad you had fun and were able to do so much! Sorry about the inconvenience of the trolleys. I was not even aware they were down for the remainder of the year so thanks for letting me know!

Amazing visit to Memphis

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment has everything you need and there’s a nice cafe across the road to sit in or take away. We had plenty of room for 5 adults. The apartment is a two minute walk from the Civil Rights museum a must to visit. It is also a nice walk to downtown Memphis.

Memphis April 2018

  • 4 of 5

Great location, close to amenities. The apartment was very comfortable. We stayed a Thursday and Friday night. Friday night was a bit noisy as the bedrooms face out onto the front street below but all in all we loved out stay! We will be back to explore Memphis again some time soon. Thank you!!

Owner's Response: Hi Darian - Thanks for your review! Your reservation coincided with our monthly neighborhood Trolley Night. That is typically the only time there is noise on the street. I've copied and pasted where I've mentioned this in my listing for reference to future guests who may be concerned about this: "The neighborhood has a family-friendly event the last Friday of every month called Trolley Night. If you are sensitive to noise or do not want to be disturbed prior to 10pm, I would choose another location if the dates of your trip fall on the last Friday of the month. The streets are bustling with live music and pedestrians from 6-10pm during this event. It's a great local experience!"

Super Location and Condo

  • 5 of 5

The weather was awful, but between rains, we were able to go to local restaurants, shops and Beale Street was walking distance. We would rent again. Convenient to National Civil Rights museum which was right behind condo. Famous Central BBQ and Arcade Restaurant only a block away. Trolley was right outside the door. We recommend staying with Cobb Properties. Owner was available if we needed. Comfortable.

Location

Car: not necessary

This condo is located in the historic South Main Arts District right across the street from Earnestine & Hazel's and a few doors down from The Arcade Diner. The National Civil Rights Museum and Central BBQ are right behind the condo. Lots to see and do within walking distance. If walking isn't your thing, there's a trolley stop right outside the front door that will take you down Main Street.
