About Strawberry Fields

Family Time Vacation Rentals specializes in managing privately owned cabins-homes, lodges and condos. We are hands on and live where are properties are located. My wife and I started our business in 2008 after deciding we wanted to give our children the simpler life of living in the country.

Our business is built on the concept of providing comfortable lodging to families and individuals who want to feel the comforts of home while away on vacation. With over seven years of experience in the nightly rental business, we consistently work to provide top quality properties at affordable rates. A large percentage of our guests who visit the area and stay with us become repeat customers because they had a great time and have said the accommodations and beautiful landscape of where their vacation home was located were exceptional.

Strawberry Fields purchased this cabin in 2008

Wonderful family cabin

  • 5 of 5

I've been to Duck Creek every summer for years, and this cabin was easily my favorite. Large, open, private, beautiful views, many bathrooms and bedrooms, and a few short minutes from the village. The staff was helpful before our visit to make sure everything was in order.

Would definitely return.

Great cabin, with easy instructions to access and use.

Suggestion for improvement is the TV etc. Remote was missing batteries, and instructions for this were not perfect. Did not take away from visit, only a suggestion on making it better.

Private Mountain Log Cabin

  • 4 of 5

We arranged for my parents, who are elderly, to spend a "one last hurrah" family vacation with our original family unit of 4. My father suffers from Parkinson's disease, so it was important to find a suitable house rental versus a hotel to stay in, where we could have the flexibility to change our plans on a moment's notice. This gave us the freedom and privacy to cook on our own, sleep in, and do whatever we wanted. My father's wish was to see Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. The location of this log cabin was almost equidistance between the two national parks. The cabin was ample-with 5 bedrooms, sleeping up to 12 people. The great room had a great working kitchen for cooking (which we love to do). It overlooked a beautiful meadow where we experienced all types of seasonal weather (rain, snow, sunshine, wind, hail, cold and hot temperatures). The entry access is up 2 steps, so it was relatively easy for my father to navigate. He stayed on the main floor which housed 1 bedroom and adjoining bathroom. We loved the quietness of the cabin. We only had a few issues during our stay, however, the property management staff responded immediately and got right on it to fix the following: internet access, central heating unit. There were also some other issues that may need addressing down the road, but were not too bothersome during our stay. The driveway is narrow and steep: it took my sister and I (who did the driving) a few tries to navigate it with more ease. The framing around the doorways is coming apart from the seams (cheap materials?). The fireplace did not work (we tried). The carpet downstairs reeked of some horrible smell; definitely needs steam cleaning or replacing. The closet doors to the laundry were broken. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We felt comfortable and safe. We were happy to have "one last hurrah" family vacation with my father before he was unable to travel anymore.

Great house atop the mountain

  • 5 of 5

This house was perfect for our two families, total of 8 people. There was plenty of space in the house, good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The loft bedroom worked out great for the teens in our group. The living room and deck were great for relaxing. Good proximity to Bryce Canyon, Red Canyon and Zion National Park. Make sure you stop for food/supplies in town before your 30 mile journey up the mountain to the house. We enjoyed renting a pontoon boat nearby at Navaho Lake Lodge to give our younger kids legs a rest from hiking. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Fantastic cabin getaway!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was perfect for our first Duck Creek experience! We had 11 people total and the layout was perfect to accomodate two families. Kitchen is updated, TVs in different rooms and the deck offers the most beautiful view! Our kids played outside most days and we enjoyed all the nearby ATV trails! House isn't far from Duck Creek and was close to horseback riding and fishing as well. We are from big cities and loved this getaway and beautiful cabin. It was clean, had every amenity needed and responses from owner and property manager were always prompt. Highly recommend and will definitely be staying here again!!!
