About Christina Iverson

My husband and I bought the house a few years ago. I grew up in Spokane and have a large family, but we and my three children have lived in both Uganda and India these past 6 years. We wanted a house we could come home to, to visit friends and family. Because we spend most of our time abroad, we wanted a house we could rent and use at the same time. I love old houses, and instantly fell in love with this one. It's a craftsman in a wonderful neighborhood, and is 3 blocks from my brother, and 8 blocks from my sister. I also have another sister and two other brothers, as well as my folks, in Spokane. I have tried to bring a touch of India to the house with beautiful linens and comforters. It feels like home to me, and we hope our guests feel the same way.

Why Christina Iverson chose Manito

The house is charming. The neighborhood is quiet, established, and perfectly located.

What makes this house unique

I fell in love with the house as soon as I saw the front porch, the wood work and built-in book shelves in the living and dining area, and the back yard. Everything is located on one floor, perfect for small children. When we used to travel with our three, I always wanted my kids close to me, not on another floor.

Convenience and comfort

  • 4 of 5

The location of the property is set in a quiet neighborhood within minutes of downtown and several parks. Most common amenities you would need available and a few extra as well. Clean and comfortable with plenty of space for me, my husband and 4 kids!

Lovely house in a beautiful neighbourhood

  • 4 of 5

Three of us shared this house while attending a week of classes at Gonzaga. It was spacious and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the deck out front and the lovely tree lined street. No huge complaints. The living room furniture could be replaced and the kitchen needs updating but that is all clear in the pictures. Everything worked and there were plenty of glasses and dishes. I would stay here again.

Great house for my family. Feels way bigger than 1200 sq feet and has a ton of charm. Very close to DT Spokane and Christina made everything easy without getting in the way. Highly recommended.

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful home! My family (five kids...17yr-10months along with my husband and I) stayed there for a week and we all loved it. Had every luxury of home with all the charm of a vintage home. Owner was sweet and responsive to our questions. Would highly recommend.
