Buckner Bunkhouse is a sprawling ranch style home and offers all new upgrades and amenities throughout this spacious, open plan home including central A/C and heating, internet/cable, 2- 50 gallon water heaters to supply plenty of hot water throughout the home. 4 large flat screen TV's and DVD player and some movies and board games. The bedrooms and bathrooms are strategically placed for privacy and optimal use with large groups. The large living room has a gas log fireplace with a mounted 70 inch TV and wood cathedral ceilings, a queen sleeper sofa and a murphy wall bed. Kitchen is fully stocked and has all new appliances, granite and cabinets with every gadget you could possibly need for your stay. The open floor plan joins the kitchen, dining, living and breakfast area which is great for visiting and making memories and can accommodate up to 26 diners at one time. The game room has 3 queen murphy wall beds, a bar with mini fridge, plenty of seating, a pool table, large TV and a handicap accessible bathroom off the game room. 6 private bedrooms: 1st master has a TV, king and a trundle that can make into a king or left as a twin with a bathroom en-suite and large walk-in closet. 2 large bedrooms with queen beds and a hall bathroom. 2nd master/bathroom en-suite has a king bed and TV. The Cowboy bedroom has a full bed and the Wilderness bedroom has a queen bed with easy access to a hall powder bathroom. These bedrooms provide a real cabin feel and have windows looking out into the trees and park like area and patio area. The entire house has new linens, bedding, furniture, mattresses, appliances, flooring and bathroom fixtures. The patio is equipped with a large gas grill (propane provided), a 3 person swing, patio furniture and table for eating and visiting. Hot tub in single garage for privacy and can be used comfortably year-round. There is parking for about 8 vehicles along the large circular driveway which has a handicap access ramp into the home.

About NETTA COLEMAN

Buckner Bunkhouse was purchased by my husband Ron and I along with my brother Bill and his wife Joel as a joint venture and to have a place large enough for family gatherings since we are gathering quite a few grandkids. My brother and I were raised in Santa Rosa, NM and have always had a great time together. It has been quite an experience doing the makeover of this house with them. We have made many great memories together on this project and hopefully we can make many more with our families. Ron and I live in Ruidoso and own/operate 3 other vacation properties. We love meeting our guests and making their trip to Ruidoso as enjoyable as we possibly can. We moved to Ruidoso about 15 years ago and we wouldn't trade it for the world.

Since we have 3 other vacation rental properties and we feel that this is our niche in life as we like to accommodate our guests to the best of our ability to make their stay enjoyable and relaxing, we decided this house would be a great addition to the family. I enjoy adding all the extra touches to a house to make it a home. This house had been neglected for some time but we saw the potential that it had to offer and after many hard months of work on it-it has become the house that we knew it could be. It has a great floor plan so that large groups don't feel cramped or crowded since there is so much space to move around in. We know that our guests will find it to be a comfortable home away from home with all that these great mountains have to offer.

What makes this house unique

We looked at quite a few properties before this one-and the minute we walked into this one, we knew that we would love to own it and turn it into all that it could be. It is in a great part of town that is close to everything but yet located in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. The back patio is so peaceful and enjoyable since you look out onto a private park setting with trees, bushes, grass and lots of deer. It is such a nice, peaceful retreat to sit out there and watch the deer and enjoy family and friends.

Great Place to Stay!

We love staying at the Buckner house! This is the third year we've stayed. The house is nice and big with plenty of room for everyone. The back porch has an amazing new pergola that we enjoyed several meals under and you can sit on the front deck and enjoy the outdoors as well. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. A gas grill is also on the back porch. The kids loved the game room and the hot tub! We will definitely be renting this house again next year. The owners are amazing as well and will help you with anything you might need. You won't be disappointed with this rental!

Perfect cabin for a large group

Our group of 20 men stayed here for a 3 day church conference and had an incredible stay. The cabin is extremely nice, spacious and had everything that we could need. The parking was plentiful, we were able to fit 8 vehicles in the driveway with ease. The cabin is filled with very nice appliances, large updated TVs and and very nice furniture and finishes. The owners are extremely organized and very supportive throughout the process. We had no problems or needs during our stay which I feel is attributed to the preparation that the owners put in before we arrived. Thank you very much for hosting us. I will definitely rent again!

An awesome experience

The cabin is beautiful, well stocked there was nothing that we needed and we didn’t have. Spacious cozy yet big enough for large groups of people. We enjoyed everything the Buckner house had to offer. The owner replied fast and was very accommodating

Cancellation Policy: If Guest wishes to cancel his/her reservations, the deposit or balance paid in advance will be refunded as follow.

• 100% if cancelled 16 days or more prior to Check-in Date for the remainder of calendar year (Regular).
