Aloha! Your dream vacation starts with our beautiful new condo, located in Southwest Maui, in the town of Kihei. The Maui Kamaole complex borders on beautiful Wailea, known for excellent restaurants and world class shopping. The lush tropical grounds spread over 23 acres with 2 swimming pools, hot tubs and tennis courts. Our ground level unit is in the Bougainvillea "B" cluster by the main entrance, near the front pool which has just undergone a complete renovation. Across the street is the small boat harbor & park. Many of the top snorkeling and scuba diving charter boat operations meet there and head out for the best water adventures in maui. The famous Kamaole III beach & park, a popular gathering place to watch stunning sunsets, is right across the street from the condo. A short walk up the Kamaole III beach takes you to Kamaole Beaches I & II as well.

Our extra large (1079) square foot) condo includes an open lanai perfect for evening dining in the quiet tropical setting. A second enclosed lanai off the master bedroom provides a retreat for complete privacy. The master bedroom suite is quite spacious with a black tropical wood bedroom set and a new (2020) Sealy Posturepedic king size bed, plus a flat screen tv with lots of closet space. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with all that the gourmet chef needs. Both full bathrooms are complete, one with tub and shower, the other with shower. Ceiling fans and air conditioning keep a comfortable temperature. The large living room has a flat screen TV, stereo, free high speed internet and a new queen size sofa/sleeper for additional guests. Inside dining has 2 options for seating, at a table for six or counter top for four for quick convenience.

NOTE: The professional cleaning fee of $150 is for a normal cleaning after the guest checks out. The guest is required to wash all dishes, glasses, pots and pans and put them away all before departing for the airport. If not, a special cleaning fee of a $100 will be deducted from the $250 security deposit if the condo is NOT left the way you found it.
This excludes normal use of sheets, towels and beach towels.

Huge 1 bedroom
We enjoyed our stay in this huge one bedroom condo. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and for trips to the beach close by. It has 2 patios- one in the front with a lovely view, and one off the master bedroom.

The condo is in a great location, right across from the lower pool. The grounds are beautiful! The condo is extremely well equipped with what you'll need for a nice vacation. The only thing is it's a little tired and will soon need a update. I would recommend it to all looking for an overall great vacation condo.

We had a lovely 3 week stay in Ken's condo over Christmas. It's well located, directly across the parking lot from the lower pool and a short walk to Kamaole beach 3. The condo has a very private lanai that we enjoyed often and inside you'll find all the comforts of home. Ken was great to deal with and quick to respond to any questions, before and during our stay. This complex has the most beautiful grounds and pool areas. My wish is that it stays as family friendly as we've known it to be over the past 25 years. Unfortunately, there were a couple of very vocal condo owners around the pool complaining about all the kids. Luckily, every other bit of our stay was delightful! Mahalo Ken!

During our summer vacations over the years, we created scuba diving instruction and charter boat business in Dana Point, CA. Our love of the ocean was a natural draw to Hawaii, particularly Maui.

Why they chose this property

As far as we are concerned, there are only three island’s in the whole world where we would choose to live…… St Barts in the FWI, Catalina off of the California Coast and lastly where we chose to buy our new condo, the beautiful island of Maui.
For many years we have vacationed in Maui because of its natural beauty, the beaches and relaxed atmosphere. It has been our dream of owning a tropical second home near a beach with warm water for the numerous water sports which we enjoy so much. When searching this island, we found the best location to be close to the water on the West side for sunsets. The Kamaole III Beach and Boat Ramp with its Two (2) small hidden beaches are our favorites. Across the street, the spacious grounds of Maui Kamaole look more like a tropical residential area, with many palm trees and unique colorful Hawaiian plants.

What makes this property unique

This extra large condo (1067) square feet) is one of just a few in Maui Kamaole complex that are ground level one bedroom/ 2 baths properties. It has a more open feeling because it is a wider unit with bigger rooms and bigger lanai and court yard. The courtyard is tiled in, cutting down on the dirt. There is a valve with hose for rinsing off beach gear providing a private outdoor drying space.This is an end unit, the lanai wall is sloping giving a wider view of the garden. The living room faces the ocean so the breeze flow right in, keeping it cooler, in the afternoons. At night the winds reverse so the breeze comes from the mountains behind the courtyard. Being in the front lower part of the complex is convenient for walking to the beach and nearby shops and restaurants. The main lower swimming pool is just across the parking lot from our condo.
The comfortable furnishings are perfect for relaxing. The new bedroom set is dark wood with a very comfortable mattress. The kitchen is stocked with everything the gourmet cook needs, ample pots and pans, dishes etc. including seasonings and spices for your use. A new high powered garbage disposal is very quiet. There are three (3) dining areas, the bar/counter, an indoor table for Four (4) and a covered lighted outdoor table for four (4). Brand new 12000 BTU air-conditioning units keep the condo cool on hot summer days.
Many beach accessories include four (4) beach chairs, two (2) ice chests, Four (4) boogies boards Fins, masks and snorkel plus a 3 mm wet suit , two (2) 3 mm vests and two (2) PFD's are for your use. Our “Mermaid” adds her charm and smile.
