Built in 2015, well appointed, open air concept, 1 bedroom, 1 bath penthouse condo in the heart of Puerto Vallarta's most sought after neighborhood; Zona Romantica, a gay and family friendly, English speaking area.

Three minutes to Puerto Vallarta's most popular beach; Los Muertos, with no stairs to climb or descend en route. Food and drink service provided under umbrellas on beach. Only two to five minutes to the restaurants, amenities and nightlife of Olas Atlas and Basilio Badillo, yet tucked away at the end of Pilitas; a dead-end, mostly residential, cobble-stoned street.

Minutes to boutique and artisan shopping. Mini-marts, ATMs, convenience stores within a three-minute walk. Ten to fifteen minute taxi ride to marina, commercial centers, golf and eco tourism activities.

Granite countertops, bar and backsplash, stainless steel appliances and tropical parota wood furnishings and built-ins. Local commissioned artwork tastefully adorns the walls. Modern Condo + Great Location = Another Fabulous PV Vacation

We visited Puerto Vallarta again (11.22-12.2.2017) and stayed at John & Charlotte’s Casa Tesoro Escondido (Hidden Gem) Condo (#404) nestled up against the rock cliff at the end of Pilitas (#212) in Zona Romantica.

We enjoyed our stay in this modern, clean, corner, open-air, penthouse condo in a quiet neighbourhood a few blocks up from the beach, and a few blocks over from the lively Olas Altas – Malecon – Basilio Badillo areas. This compact condo has all the amenities you’ll need, including: a lovely sun deck and splash pool upstairs on the roof, elevator, kitchen/island, air conditioners, TV/internet/phone, washer & dryer, security gate and maid service. And yes, there are also a few local roosters and a donkey living nearby, but they quickly became part of the local neighbourhood buzz which we enjoyed, and were barely noticeable with the sliding doors closed. I found myself regularly daydreaming on my island bar stool with a morning coffee or glass of wine staring off beyond the balcony to the local scene and water. And we especially enjoyed walking home late at night through all the noisy entertainment areas before ending up on our quiet suburban street and having a romantic nightcap on our balcony. Thanks John & Charlotte. You helped make this PV visit extra special.

We love the local PV Old Town food, especially: Casa Isabel for sunset seafood dinners (and traditional U.S. Thanksgiving turkey dinner), Casa Kimberly Bridge for brunch (with Richard Burton & Elizabeth Taylor), Café Mordita for their special roast beef dinner, the new Agrodulce for seafood risotto, La Palapa and Langostinos on the beach, Joe Jack’s and Marisma’s for fish tacos, and of course some of the local ex-pat bars like Café Roma for lime margarita’s and the Salty Caesar for yummy caesars.

We also headed inland this visit up the mountains to San Sebastian del Oeste and visited Hacienda Don Lalin tequila distillery for Raicilla and Licor de Almendra, Café de Altura for organic la Quinta Mary coffee, and had a wonderful Italian lunch at the Montebello (try the lasagna).

Lastly, for alternatives to the longer walks or climbs further up the hills there are taxis nearby on Olas Atlas, but Uber is also now in PV, and the young entrepreneurs in their clean late model cars were quite professional and eager to please for our short & long trips anywhere including to/from the PVR airport.

Great location and well equipped. Condo

This newer condo is at the top end of Pilitas .While only a short block from the busy and vibrant streets of Olas Atllas and Amapas,there is no through traffic and it has a Mexican residential feel to it.

Very well equipped unit and a great roof top pool and deck area.

Great vacation

We were returning guests at Casa Escondido and it was even better the second time.Roof top pool was wonderful for relaxing ,watching sunsets and meeting new people.The unit was very clean and equipped with all you could need.You are close to the beaches,restaurants and markets.On a quiet dead end street where you might hear roosters and see a donkey.Everyone was very friendly and helpful.100% we would recommend this condo in Puerta Vallarta.Thanks John for sharing your Mexican home again ....Sharon and Brian ...

My wife and I are from Portland, Maine. I first discovered Puerto Vallarta by accident at age 18 while on vacation in Mexico City when we decided to take an overnight bus trip adventure to the coast. Upon landing in Puerto Vallarta I instantly fell in love with it. Later I was fortunate enough to be able to return with my wife. We booked a condo in Zona Romantica, very near to Casa Tesoro Escondido (Hidden Gem), and never looked back. Year after year we returned, addicted to the beauty and amenities of PV. Finally in 2013 we decided to buy. We eventually discovered a great pre-construction opportunity at Bella Loma. We oversaw construction and meticulously applied years of personal experience renting in the area and previous professional experience in rentals, construction and real estate in Maine to create a wonderful home and superior rental experience. We currently visit our home in paradise two to three times a year. We hope you will enjoy Casa Tesoro Escondido as much as we do!

Casa Tesoro Escondido is centrally located to the beach, restaurants, and nightlife that Puerto Vallarta is famous for, yet all the while tucked away at the terminus of a very quiet and peaceful dead end, residential street. As we purchased pre-construction we were able to design the finishes and furnishings to the highest quality.

What makes this condo unique

Bella Loma is a smaller condo association with only 17 units. This allows for the amenities of a condo, with a bit more privacy. Typically there will only be one or two other guests on the pool deck. It has a friendly and family run feel. Built in 2015 it has modern amenities and feel but at a much greater value than other new condo developments in the area. The location is optimal, tucked away at the terminus of a dead end only 2.5 blocks to one of Vallarta's most popular beaches, Los Muertos, only one block to Olas Altas shopping and European styled cafes and bars and only minutes to restaurant row on Baslio Badillo and the boardwalk and Downtown.
