Enjoy the charm and convenience of Uptown New Orleans on beautiful oak tree lined Napoleon Avenue. The property has been used as a location for two Hollywood South Films! It was featured in The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons staring Brad Pitt and Kate Blanchet and was also used in filming of The Paperboy, staring Nicole Kidman.

The house is located on the Mardi Gras Day Parade Route! Stand on the front lawn and enjoy the Rex the King of Carnival and the truck parades. Walk a few blocks to St. Charles Ave. and catch all of the other parades in family friendly, Uptown. When there are no parades you can enjoy a ride on the world’s oldest streetcar line to view Historic Mansions and beautiful Audubon Park with its world class zoo or play a round of golf. Head the other way down St Charles Ave. to the French Quarter and it’s a different side of history. You can stroll through the French Quarter and enjoy a different festival nearly every weekend, the amazing architecture, restaurants, antique shopping, the Audubon Aquarium and Insectarium, Mississippi Riverfront, Jackson Square. If you’re more the party all night type there’s always Bourbon Street and if you’re here for the music there always live music on Frenchman St.

There are many fabulous restaurants, boutiques, antique shops, art galleries and live music venues Uptown. The property is centrally located so you can enjoy all of what New Orleans has to offer!

Location! Location! Location! Walking distance to Mardi Gras and St. Charles Avenue! It's always a great place to take a walk and discover something new and beautiful. I live in the heart of New Orleans but there are tons of trees and flowers. It's close enough to the French Quarter but not too close. Uptown is convenient to all of the best New Orleans has to offer!

Amazing Uptown Location w Parking-Easy Access to Attractions

Bright, comfortable, super clean, well furnished 2-2 unit in a wonderful location!

This was our second time here. We love staying in this wonderful property. We travel with our cairn terrier and we bring her crate, dog bed and some toys. Even with all our stuff, this unit is roomy enough that we never felt that we were tripping over our things. The kitchen is very nice. The decor is warm and inviting. It is comfortably furnished and VERY clean. There is a lovely patio in the back yard where we enjoyed our morning coffee and our evening wine. Angela is a great host.

We had a parking spot, but there are places to park on the street if you have more than one car.

The location is just wonderful: Two parks right across the street, two fabulous restaurants and French Truck Coffee less than two blocks away. A ten minute walk takes you to all the Freret St restaurants. An easy 15 minute walk the other direction takes you to the wonderful Magazine St restaurants and shops. The street car is less than a 5 minute walk. The neighborhood is lovely and peaceful. We really enjoyed the great architecture as we walked our dog. We will definitely book here again.

Great experience.

There were two couples in our party and this rental was everything we expected plus. The apartment was well furnished, clean and wonderfully located. We were able to walk to the trolley line and many good restaurants.

Angel (the owner) was very approachable and helpful without being intrusive.

I would highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a place near enough to all attractions, but far enough away to be out of the “center”.

Beautiful place, clean well kept comfortable everything we needed. Very convenient to trolley.

Angele is a sweetheart she made us feel at home and made sure we had everything.

Highly recommended we will definitely stay again when we return to NOLA.

Home away from home

Conveniently located near Tulane/Loyola (and Pascal's Manale restaurant), the condo is large, clean and well-appointed. On-site owner is friendly and helpful. Beds are very comfortable. Off street parking is a plus. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Location for a New Orleans Getaway

We loved everything about this space - the location was near the St. Charles streetcar as well as blocks and blocks of small shops and restaurants. We could walk to everything we needed, but since we had a car, it was handy to have a parking spot on site. The owner responded immediately to all our requests, and we were extremely happy with the bedrooms. Both had ceiling fans, comfortable beds and there were two bathrooms, which was good for 4 people. The kitchen was well-equipped (though no food is provided - bring everything you're going to consume), and easy to use. The living room is spacious and nice to relax in after a day of touring the city.The back patio is wonderful at night - enclosed, with a swing, chairs, and a grill. We would stay here again in a flash! Thanks!

Great location, clean comfortable apartment

We loved the location. Should have stayed longer. Two blocks to Pascal Manale's, a short walk to Freret Street and the street car, and a bit further to Magazine and a Rousse's Market. Nice park across the street.We hardly moved the car and the covered parking space off the street was super. Fully equipt kitchen and baths. Terrific NOLA neighborhood. Highly recommended.
