Newly renovated and furnished, Jewell Street is a contemporary family home offering all the comforts of home. It is located in the heart of Crown Point, a desirable, quiet residential neighbourhood in Pacific Beach, one block from Sail Bay and 10 minutes to the Pacific Ocean. Use our beach cruisers to cycle around Mission Bay on the bike trail from Crown Point to the Pacific Ocean. All San Diego attractions are easily accessible from our home with easy access to all freeways. It is only a 5 minutes drive to Sea World! 15 minutes to Down Town San Diego, La Jolla, Old Town, Coronado Island or Balboa Park to visit the world famous San Diego Zoo. Legoland with its own water park is approximately 45 minutes drive. Mexico south of the border is an easy drive away.

Just around the corner from Jewell Street is Crown Point Park with many community events and offering everything from bike paths, bonfire pits, picnic tables, basketball courts to boat launches.

Offering two bedrooms and one full bath in the main house, our beach cottage also has a detached loft offering additional sleeping accommodations/bonus room and a lovely Bay and Downtown view. A second modest bathroom with shower is also available on the ground floor of the detached garage.

Enjoy al-fresco dining on the attached covered patio or just relax on the old fashioned porch swing. The garden offers spacious seating under the cover of mature trees where you can BBQ or just enjoy the perfect climate in one of San Diego's most desirable residential areas.

Jewell Street's open living plan is designed with every comfort in mind. The living room offers a contemporary decor with a comfortable full sleeper couch and chaise. Two ceiling fans add to the ambiance and help to keep the room cool. Large windows and French doors allow the enjoyment of outdoors or with blinds, the privacy of your own domain. A fountain with water feature offers soothing sounds to calm the spirit.

The dining room is furnished with a beautiful dining table seating 8 people comfortably. The newly refinished open kitchen is fully equipped with granite counter tops, new cookware and utensils. Make your culinary adventures more sociable by sharing a glass of wine and conversation with your family or friends with bar seating for four.

The master bedroom is spacious and is fitted with a Cal King bed, wooden floors, ceiling fan, a gas fireplace and a 40" flat screen Smart TV. The second bedroom, also with wooden floors, will sleep three comfortably with a double bunk bed. A large cozy window seat is a great place to lounge!

Enjoy a beautiful view of the Bay and Downtown San Diego from the spacious loft above the detached garage. This game room/extra bedroom offers the perfect retreat to enjoy the sunset with a cocktail in hand or for the children to relax, play games or watch television on the 40" flat screen Smart TV. The loft to enjoy the views of the Bay and Downtown.. The Loft will comfortably sleep four with a Queen sofa bed with a memory foam mattress and a trundle day bed with two twin (single) beds.

The main house offers one principal bathroom with a tub shower. However, additional modest bathroom facilities are available in the finished detached garage. A full shower, toilet and basic utility sink are available to accommodate additional demand or post beach showers.

French doors from the living room open to the covered, open air decking offering the perfect setting for al fresco dining. Furnished with a rattan patio dining set with cushioned chairs, your outdoor dining will be cozy and comfortable. The old fashioned porch swing graces the porch for a great place to read a book or relax after a day at the beach.

For children, the enclosed garden offers plenty of freedom to safely run around. There is a free standing children's two story play house offering hours of imaginative play. For older children, a basketball hoop and basketball are available.

For outdoor and beach activities, borrow one of our beach cruisers and enjoy the amenities of Mission Bay! Cycle around Mission Bay on the scenic boardwalk/bike path and cross easily over to the ocean boardwalk of Pacific Beach. All water sports, from sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking, jet skiing, and are available nearby

Jewell Street offers the use of beach towels, beach umbrella, a beach wagon, two paddle boards, 5 beach cruisers, boogie boards and beach chairs. Off street parking is available for two cars. A washer and dryer are available for your use in the detached garage.

As this is a residential neighbourhood, it is essential that all of our guests respect the noise restrictions and are considerate of our neighbours. Therefore, no loud music, NO PARTIES and no loud conversation outside after 9.30 pm. Guests must be over age 30. Our home is best suited to families.

  • Garage bathroom is modest and has only utility sink and shower and toilet. It is quite functional, but utilitarian and not upscale! My family happily used the extra bathroom for overlap and overflow at peak use times.

Watch the Sea World fireworks from the loft; Enjoy the BBQ and dine al fresco in the ample back garden. One of our favorite things to do is paddle board on Mission Bay or rent jet skis, kayaks or catamarans in Mission Bay for the day!

This home is located in a noise sensitive neighborhood requiring respect for neighbors after 9.30 pm. NO parties, NO loud music or NO loud conversation outside after 9.30 pm. There is strict adherence to this policy and renters must be comfortable with this policy before booking.

Additional persons over maximum occupancy of 8 will charged an additional daily rate of $25 per person plus taxes.

If reserving within 60 day, full balance due at booking.

Cancellation policy is full refund with 60 days notice. If reservation is booked within the 60 days, please email owner to discuss terms of cancellation.

Owners suggest the purchase of travel insurance for added protection in the event of cancellation.

Any damages other than wear and tear will be the responsibility of the renter.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
