Peace of Paradise is located in the most desirable building 4 "Bonefish" in the resort, which is closest to the ocean. The condo has been totally renovated, 2 bedroom, 2 bath is located on the 3rd floor in a the perfect location, not to high and above the mangroves for the best direct ocean view!

This accommodation is close to wonderful restaurants, and lots of things to do. Just to name a few, you are just minutes from a Publix, Winn Dixie, CVS, Package store, the Old Tavernier Restaurant since 1988, Snappers, Tavernier Creek Marina, and PADI certified Florida Keys Dive Center. Just a short drive to Islamorada, shopping, Worldwide Sportsman, Islamorada Fish Company, Founders Park, Theater of the Sea, the quaint Wild Bird Center and a favorite for a sundown dinner on the beach at Morada Bay Beach Cafe and on the way back to the condo pick up dessert at the Blond Giraffe Key Lime Pie Factory for the best pie ever! We have a Welcome Book with lots of information about where to go, where to eat, and the local favorites, fishing and boating, water activities, golf courses & spas, local attractions and so much more....

About The Owner

Hi, I'm Heather, manager, who you will be talking with before and during your stay with us. My brother, owner, and his story, I am a native Texan, avid scuba diver and fisherman, my work took me to South Florida. I found myself traveling to the keys any time I could get away so I decided to purchase a place where my family, friends and I can enjoy all that the Florida Keys has to offer throughout the year! I chose building 4 because it is the most desirable as it is closest to the water and has the best view! It is also the closest building to the pool and tennis court and very near to the cafe, bar, marina and beach.

On-site the resort has a Marina, a boat ramp, trailer parking and boat slips up to 28 ft available thru the property managers office for a fee. Certificate of insurance and registration will be required. For larger boats, there are 2 marina's within 2 miles from the resort, Tavernier Creek Marina MM 90.8 and Mangrove Marina 91.7...the resort is at MM 92.5

Beautiful Peace of Paray

Beautiful property that over looks the ocean just like the pictures show! Condo is tastefully decorated and was large enough to accommodate 4 adults and one infant. (Thank you for the pack n play and high chair). The unit was clean plus it had many amenities! The coffee bar was a hit! Our family also enjoyed the large pool and hot tub.

Thank you for allowing us to enjoy Peace of Paradise :)

Stunning Condo

We could not have been happier with our stay at Peace of Paradise. I found myself waking up hours earlier than normal just to catch an quiet and early view of the ocean (coffee in hand and no kids woken). The condo was clean and well stocked. I absolutely loved the decor and that wall color! It definitely was appropriate for our location. Speaking of the location, the complex’s was close to everything. My kids especially enjoyed the massive pool area in which was not overly busy. Everybody was extremely friendly. We will be back! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Not happy with condo management

The condo was nice but besides having work done, having people painting outside of our patio, we were more disappointed in the instructions. Load the dishwasher, put all towels in bathtubs, don't move furniture will scratch floors, air conditioner freezes up, if Maintance is called you will be charged. Upon entering we have a floor fan running, plus a fan in the hall. If the air conditioner freezes up you need to get it fixed. Was not impressed with how the rental was handled and will not consider renting again.

Owner's Response: I am sorry to hear that you would not consider renting again. You are the first and only guest that has stated that they would not consider renting again in our over 3 years of owning and renting this condo. Our guests are our priority and it's our goal to see that they experience one of their best vacations ever! Please remember, this is different than hotel. You are responsible for cleaning up after yourself. The things you mentioned are not demands by any means, only kind suggestions. And, not sure where you got the indication that we would charge our guest for a maintenance call, that is simply not true. Also, I have no idea you mentioning the tower fan running , as they can be turned on or off at your leisure. That is not a fan in the hallway, it’s an Alen air purifier which I have in my personal home since I deal with allergies (it too can be turned on or off) The tower fans are for our guests that enjoy sleeping with a soft sound of a fan as I do. And, lastly, I’m surprised that you would have a problem with them painting as that had nothing to do with our condo and I informed you that the resort was finishing up some loose ends due to the most recent hurricane. The fact that you did not have one positive thing to say about the Keys is shocking! The 5 star reviews that follow after this guest also stayed in April.

Perfect spot for a relaxing get away!

Very nicely appointed condo, it had all we needed to make the stay comfortable and lovely. The beds were comfy as were the couches and dining table and chairs, everything fit in perfectly and the decor was nicely done as well. While there is still some damage from the last major hurricane, the property management is very busy getting things back up to normal again (they are diligent, if even a little overly so with the early morning starts). But the good thing is that the condo is well insulated and with the slider shut, the noise was minimal. Loved the coffee service set up, extra nice to have coffee there to start out with. Just make sure to bring all your own spices, etc. as those are not provided, but all the cooking utensils were there and in great shape. The view out the back slider was really nice and you don't have to look at your neighbors due to the way it's built out. There are many places to check out in the area (Laura Quinn Wild Bird Sanctuary is awesome and they really take care of the enclosures and birds there, plus a nice trail to the water with great sights) as well as restaurants to eat and hang out (MEAT is the best, burgers, fried green tomatoes and more plus a fun selections of beers. Also Snooks Bayside is on the water with great views and some tasty food). Overall, this was a lovely place to stay and just chill and enjoy the ocean.

Key Largo Bucket List Trip

This was one of the best family vacations we've ever experienced. The condo was perfect, clean, well stocked and our morning coffee view from the patio saw the ocean for miles and miles. The grounds are clean and the staff was incredibly friendly and always greeted us at the pool with smiles and fun stories. All in all, this was outstanding and we are looking at 2018 to come back. If you get a chance, book this place. You'll be happy you did. BTW, Meredith is a peach to work with.

Clean, comfy beds & a beautiful view!!

"Peace of Paradise" was exactly that! We found it clean & well stocked (including beach towels!). The view from the balcony is beautiful, and we enjoyed watching all the kitties from it (very tiny, but 3 of us stood on it). The beds were very comfortable and all appliances were in working order. The pool was open, clean and refreshing! The cafe has happy hour, every day and we enjoyed the drink specials. Staff was friendly and the location is great! You need a car to get to restaurants and shopping, but several are close, within a 10 minute drive. The beach at the resort is very tiny, and seemed a little "dirty" so we traveled to various beaches, there are several very close by, and free during the week. Having Wi-Fi was nice for doing research, and I did overhear that the resort guests had very spotty service, so that is a very nice amenity!!! We would highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting the Keys.

Minutes from Islamorada, acclaimed as the "Sport Fishing Capital of the World", this area is perfectly located in the keys for world-class deep sea and back-country fishing. Former Presidents are some of the thousands of anglers who have fished these waters! Only 70 minutes from Miami Int Airport, just at the southern end of Key Largo, the "Diving Capital of the World", and about 90 miles North of Key West, you can't find a better location! The name "Islamorada" comes from "islas moradas", meaning "purple isles", and was provided by Spanish explorers...perhaps because of the gorgeous lavendar pink sky at sunset! But it is really the lure of the game fish, the reef diving and snorkeling and other water activities that bring people year after year! Some of Islamorada's many attractions are Lignumvitae State Botanical Site, the highest spot in the Keys. Nearby Indian Key Historical Site, once the home of the Dade County Seat and a wrecker's village was burned by the Seminole Indians in 1840. Also, Fossil Reef Geological State Park, where you can see coral formations that gave birth to the keys 100,000 years ago! In addition, San Pedro Underwater Archaeological Preserve Sate Park, the final resting place of one of the 21 Spanish galleons that sank in a 1733 hurricane. You can also visit the Florida Keys History and Discovery on The Islander Resort property, Theater of the Sea, History of Diving Museum and The Hurricane Memorial. Besides historical venues and sport fishing, there is seemingly endless fantastic shopping and world class and casual dining! Each month there is the Morada Way Art Walk followed by the late night jam at Ootray, The Full Moon Party at Morada Bay; Island Fest in April and the Holiday Festival (with Snow!) in December...just to name a few! We provide a note book filled with information on where to go, what to do, where to eat and lots of tips on where the locals like to go!
