About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 8 (6 adults)

Enjoy enchanting waterfront views from the expansive deck of this bright pet-friendly Cloverdale home for eight guests (six adults).

Bird watch, picnic, and wander through this incredible countryside right in your backyard. Whalen Island is within walking distance and has some amazing wildlife to spot as well.

The living room, with its comfortable seating and flatscreen TV, is great for a relaxing night in. And with two dining room tables, family meals and game nights are a must.

Well stocked, the kitchen has everything you'll need including major appliances, a dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, and more.

Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms (one attached to the master bedroom) offer privacy for guests. And with six beds and two sofabeds, all eight guests (six adults maximum, please) have a place to rest each night.

More great amenities here include WiFi, a wood stove, and a washer and dryer. And dogs are welcome, too, with an additional fee.

Pacific City is just south of here and offers eateries, shopping, and cell phone coverage (as this area may be spotty). Play on the beach, build sandcastles, surf, kayak, and search for seashells. Hike around Sand Lake Recreation Area or Cape Lookout State Park for a serene day in the great outdoors. You can even fish in Sand Lake and bring your fresh catch home for a delicious fish dinner.

Ready and waiting with all the comforts of home, this impeccable rental is perfect for your coastal getaway.

About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

A great piece of land with beautiful views; very secluded while only minutes from multiple beaches!

 • 4 of 5

We had 5 adults and 2 young children and we felt very comfortable in the house with plenty of space. The plethora of games and movies kept everyone entertained and, of course, the oversized deck with amazing views was the highlight. Being in the rural area we enjoyed “unplugging” with no phone service and relying on sluggish internet within the house (we reset the router a couple of times to get it moving). The kids enjoyed the tree swing while the adults enjoyed bird watching and the only drawback was the exterior of the house could use a good power-washing (quite a bit of mildew buildup and spiders - although we enjoyed the fuzzy caterpillars). But everything inside was beautiful with great beach decor and comfortable furnishings, especially the large soaking tub in the master bath. We will definitely book here again as we loved the short drives to multiple beaches (Pacific City, Cape Lookout, Rockaway Beach) and to Tillamook. Overall, an amazing stay!

The view from the home of the marsh was amazing and very calming. This is a great home if you want to unplug from the rest of the world. The home was very clean. Be aware that there is no cell phone service. You have to drive into Pacific City to get service.

No service

 • 4 of 5

If we had internet service that worked and a working tv connection it would have been great, we need some connection to outside world, we came home to the whole area on fire and we were clueless.. Could use more spices/sugar and linens othen than that the house is cute. Beautiful art work nice big yard for kids to run around. Could use a fire pit.

The house is in good location and with lots of space for a family. They have lots of games and videos that you can use for a quality family time. Cleanliness is below average and needs immediate attention otherwise if things get fixed, this place will be a an excellent vacation rental home to stay.

Pretty little home, just a couple issues.

 • 3 of 5

First of all this is a cute and for the most part tidy little home. Very cozy inside and the kids loved the swing outside. The deck is also a very peaceful place to sit and enjoy your coffee. But we did have a couple issues. First we were able to connect to the Wi-Fi but it would not work which is a big issue for me as I need it for work. Second some of the bedding had been folded and left on the beds damp and smelled like mildew. Thankfully we brought some extra blankets to use of our own. And third the next door neighbor has a rooster that crows every morning at 6 so don't plan on sleeping in.

Owner's Response: We're sorry about the wifi not working properly. We instruct our guests to call Guest Services anytime there is a connection or usage issue. The housekeeping staff has been made aware of the damp bedding found. Extra linens are available. The property manager will speak to the neighbor in the hope that mornings will be a bit quieter. Thank you.
