Good location to attractions and plenty of room for a family of four

Location is great for getting on and off 101. As posted prior, the neighbourhood is a bit sketchy however we felt safe walking around. There is a Taco Bell, McDonalds and grocery store two blocks away. Parking is a nightmare and one night we were lucky to get a spot on the street four blocks away. Read parking restriction signs as we ended up with a parking ticket as we didn't read the sign and cars had to be removed at 8am for street cleaning. Not that any streets are cleaned. Toilet paper is one ply and you get two rolls. There was hand soap in the bathroom and dish soap in the kitchen but nothing for the dishwasher and no tea towel to dry dishes or paper towels but there are filters for the coffee machine. We left behind cling wrap and tin foil that we purchased. No wine glasses or wine bottle opener or hair dryer. When we arrived there was no water coming through the hot at the kitchen sink and lots of burnt out light bulbs. I texted the management company in the morning and they had everything fixed when we got home that evening. The unit is quiet and I believe all units are short term rentals. We travelled with two teenage boys and there was plenty of room. Wifi is good and they have NetFlix. All in all for space and location it is great. Depending on where you are coming from just don't be intimidated by the neighbourhood. The streets may be dirty but everyone we spoke with were very friendly.

Family of 5 weekend at Universal

The neighborhood was a little sketchy. But nothing happend, we had a restful sleep. Bathroom very outdated, poor water presurre. There was a lingering smell of "Old building" The apartment was located towards back of building away from street. Long narrow driveway looked like an alley driveway. Cars had to park one in front of another. FYI hopefully other ocupants leave their phone numbers on their dashboards as a courtesy. Parking was difficult. Take your own sheets for the sofa bed.

Very good

Overall the property was okay. It had good airconditioning and was quiet and we slept well. It was clean and as advertised. Our only disappointment was one coffee mug but otherwise it served our purposes and budget well.

Korean and adequately spacious but limited parking

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The owner of the property was very prompt in replying to our initial inquiry and with our security deposit after our stay. The condo appeared just like the pictures.

We had two concerns. As discussed in reviews of similar properties in the area, parking can be a problem. After driving around the block a few times, we were always able to find somewhere to park. Another concern was that the neighborhood does not appear to be as nice or safe as we might have hoped. That said, we did not have any personal incidents with individuals in the neighborhood.

The Neighborhood

Convenient neighborhood with shops & restaurants. Great public transportation. Convenient to 101 Freeway.

Easy access to Hollywood studios, walk of fame, tourist attractions, Los Feliz, Hospitals, LACC, downtown lofts, Staples Center, LA Live, W Hotel, Silverlake, Burbank, Glendale, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm.

Close-by park with outdoor gym.

Shared Parking Space or Street parking, but not difficult if you are willing to walk a block or two.

Getting Around

Public transportation is all around you. Never more than a block away!

Other Things to Note

If you like easy, down-home living, this is a perfect place to live in without the hassle of ownership.
