Nice with a hick up or two

  • 4 of 5

Our Visit was good after walking in on a bunch of nice men who were in the unit we were sent to. Marcy was fantastic and let me know we were assigned a different unit, not sure how that happened, we were not notified of any change, that being said the units are similar and suited our needs nicely! Many updates were "brand new" so much in fact simple things like Salt and Pepper were not there, but much was old too and that's ok the place lived up to our expectations and the service exceeded them!

Convenient location in Hollywood

  • 2 of 5

Four of us spent 3 nights at this townhouse.

The townhouse is between Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Blvd. Lots of places to eat and the main Hollywood sites closeby, very close to Universal Studio and close to 101. The property manager was responsive.

It was very noisy with truck traffic noise and rather frequent sirens as it was next to a fairly busy road. The dining table has only 4 chairs, fortunately there were only 4 of us. Cannot imagine having more people in it though there is bedding for 6. The downstairs bathroom off the kitchen is old and a tight squeeze. The toaster was not working and a couple of light bulbs were blown. It was nice that the property manager did drop new ones the next morning. The kitchen is poorly furnished and definitely did not encourage us to prepare meals. Dishwasher detergent was not provided, one would need to purchase it to use. The place is not really gated, only had fence in front. The driveway is an uneven dirt entry. In general, the place needs a makeover both outside and inside to make it appealing.

Really accommodating for the 8 of us who stayed there.

  • 4 of 5

The outside of property really needs to have work done to it.When we arrived didn't think I would want to stay there, but when we entered townhouse was really decent inside. Very close to Universal Studios about a 10 min drive. So overall townhouse decent but outside little to be desired.

Rundown townhome

  • 1 of 5

We were surprised of the condition of this home. Most of the lights didnt function properly, the chiminea wouldn't light, the bathrooms outdated and the overall upkeep was very poor. I would not recommend staying here.

Convenient location, but run down building

  • 2 of 5

The location was very convenient to Hollywood and Universal Studios but the unit did not meet expectations. The linens were cheap and beds were uncomfortable. The walls were dirty, and glassware was minimal. Very noisy at night and difficult to sleep without ear plugs. The pictures looked much better than the actual unit. The gated courtyard is basically dirt. The building could use a good power wash, and it felt very dirty inside. I rated 2 stars because of the location, otherwise I would rate 1 star.
