Great Rental for beach goers, kayaking and restaurants. Renters have access to beautiful Ninigret Pond, and access to Private, Green Hill Beach. Newport is 35 minutes away, and Block Island Ferry is 15 minutes away. 3 Bedrooms 2 Baths (Sun room converts to Bedroom), sleeps six with a huge kitchen and dining room. Parking for 4 cars, with spectacular views of Block Island Sound. The most peaceful and relaxing get away! .....

Great family vacay week!
This place was beautiful! The pictures didn’t do it any justice. The house was clean and smelled fresh upon arrival. Plenty of AC units to keep house cool Just the way we like it. Backyard is beautiful. We used a couple of their extra beach chairs to sit out and enjoy the sun while our children napped. Super close to beach and got to both public and private beach easily.

Family Vacation
This was exactly the place we were looking for to spend time together as a family- grandparents, adult children, and young adult grandchildren all under one roof with the ocean within walking distance.The house is spacious , every one with their favorite spot- whether reading, playing games, even a piano for a little recital one evening.The house has everything needed in the kitchen, we brought our own bedding .there is even an outdoor shower for use after a beach day.No trouble finding our destination- many good memories to be had!

Absolutely wonderful!
We had an amazing week at this beautiful home. Edward was wonderful and was super accomodating. Home was sparkling clean and temperature was very comfortable. Easy walk to the beach and tennis courts. We hope to stay again next summer!

Wonderful week at beautiful Green Hill Beach
The house is absolutely fantastic, the pictures do not do it justice it’s even more beautiful & larger in person. It was a warm week when we were there and the house was very comfortable with the ac units. It’s beautifully decorated and the living room was very spacious which included a Very large sectional sofa with a chaise attached , and 3 additional chairs, and a large tv, 2 full bathrooms and an outdoor shower... there is also a front living room with 4 swivel chairs and a Gorgeous fireplace ...just beautiful ! Kitchen was very spacious too! There is a beautiful staircase leading Upstairs & you have one bedroom that Has 2 full size beds & one day bed(All very comfy) Then there is a second bedroom with with a Queen size bed and French doors leading to a Large sitting area with a couch that pulls out to a sofa bed. The house has a very open floor plan which is lovely. Outside is a very nice landscaped yard with Various gardens and a side patio with a table and chairs and a Webber grill. There are 3 Seperate beach areas all within a 10-20 min walk of the house .. (All Green Hill Beach) the closest To the house is a rocky beach which was so gorgeous!! We would walk down to sit on the 2 benches And just listen to the ocean. The second beach is the association Beach which the rental includes a parking pass to, it’s not that great because you can’t swim there but the parking pass was key because you can park there and walk over (5 min) to the sandy beach area or if you are lucky there are about 6-7 parking spots at the sandy beach ...the sandy beach was beautiful !! Not a ton of seating so get there early and put your chairs down etc... The weekends were very crowded but during the week was much better the water was warm and very clear and the waves were perfect and no seaweed!!! As far as groceries, there is the Charlestown mini (5 min drive)which had everything you need and also there is a Walmart about 15-20 minutes away in Westerly. There is also a little farm stand/store called Peaches(5 min drive) that had the best local corn on the cob & phenomenal homemade pies and desserts . For restaurants we ate at Matunick Oyster Bar, The Breakwater in Stonington, CT and S& P oyster bar in Mystic, CT All were fantastic and would highly recommend ! Ed was great to deal with and very responsive . We would 100% recommend this rental property...we are from RI but It was our first time at Green Hill beach! We loved everything about it!!

I have been coming to Green Hill my entire life. My parents were teachers and we rented until 1973 when they purchased 38 Eastern View. In 1993 my parents retired to Green Hill and built the home that is currently standing. Green Hill is in our blood, and is one of the most spectacular places to summer with your family.

Why they chose this property

This property was my mother and fathers property and we could never let it leave the family. Green Hill is spectacular and is in our blood.

What makes this property unique

Close to Newport, Block Island Ferry, the beaches are outstanding. Ninigret Pond is one of the most beautiful settings in the northeast, and renters have access to launch a kayak boat or sail board
