Great location!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay! The owners were great hosts, helpful, and checked in with us to make sure we were okay after a little snow storm. The location was perfect! It was centrally located to everything we wanted to see (Mt. Rushmore, Evans hot springs, Custer state park, Wind caves). Hopefully we’ll be back!

2nd Time Staying here, Same enjoyment as first

  • 5 of 5

We were drawn to this location because it is relatively close to the tourist spots in the Black Hills and still close to our family in Hot Springs. We had great weather again and were greeted with about six deer each time we arrived home at night. Everything went smoothly at our stay, which made coming back from travelling the Hills all that more relaxing. Thanks for having us.

Great house for a family.

  • 5 of 5

Just a well laid out, super clean house between Custer and Pringle on the highway. A great spot for kids to be kids (read: loud, active) because of large meadow behind house. Easy access to Mickelson trail is along back of property. A great stay that exceeded our expectations.

Family vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our family felt so comfortable at this cabin! It was really easy to find even in the dark and a short drive to most attractions. Plus if you decide to just hang out for the day or evening. A person can just walk on the trail located right behind the cabin.

Very cozy cabin and convenient too.

  • 4 of 5

The cabin is in the middle of area attractions and makes a great starting point to visit Hot Spring’s Mammoth Site, Jewel Cave or Wind Cave, Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore and the drive along Needles Highway as well Rapid City, the Badlands and the Minuteman Missile National Historic Site.

The owners have a done an excellent job of making the cabin cozy. And it is spacious. We were 4 adults, but there was easily room for twice that number to be comfortable.

The owners are readily available to help if a problem arises. This is a place we'd rent again if we get back to the area.

Stop looking, stay here! You won't regret it!

  • 5 of 5

This home is absolutely wonderful. Our recent stay included 4 adults and 3 children and we all fit very comfortably. When you open the front door, you will be amazed with your first impression -- its updated, decorated perfectly, impeccably clean, and the wide open views out the back are beautiful and peaceful. It's a short drive into the town of Custer, and the other area sights take a bit of driving but it's worth it to come back to this house for a nice BBQ and sunset glass of wine or sunset walk along the Mickelson trail. I can't forget the owners -- so kind and available for anything you might need. Perfect place!
