Situated on a virtually private sandy cove in a quiet neighborhood only 10-15 mins drive from downtown Victoria, spacious home w/ modern interiors, stunning south facing views and underfloor heating throughout makes for a perfect summer or winter retreat. The virtually floor to ceiling windows brings the outdoors in and provides spectacular eye candy throughout each season. Modern open-style living/dining and with a gourmet kitchen provides a spacious 5 star experience. Watch the outdoor wildlife in the comfort of the home or settle to a movie on the 58 " Sony flat screen TV with surround sound or Blu-ray DVD. A sun room overlooking the ocean makes for a perfect sanctuary to relax, read a book or practice yoga/meditation. You will find a fully equipped kitchen with stone counter-tops, gas-range oven, water filter and dishwasher/fridge/microwave.

Sleep will be royally enjoyed in the master bedroom for two main factors - the luxurious high quality king bed/mattress and 100% beautiful cotton linens, but also because of the wonderful negative irons that are created by the ocean. Master- bed adjoins elegant en-suite with walk-in shower and soaker tub for two. Be awed by the stunning sunrise/sunset and views from the various decks and balconies -- 'tis very romantic, honeymooners love the property. A second bright and spacious bedrooms located on the main floor houses a quality queen size bed and looks out over the garden.

A separate laundry room with Miele w/d., deep laundry sink/stone countertop, is there to use if you should need it.

View Royal is a quiet neighborhood and the best kept secret in Victoria. Feels like you're in the countryside and yet only 10-15 mins drive to downtown Victoria. Discover beaches, beautiful trails including the well loved Galloping Goose Trail. National historic site, Hatley Castle at Royal Roads with it's gorgeous gardens is located just 10 mins drive from the property and is a highly recommended destination. Fisgard Lighthouse and Fort Rodd Hill are also local and highly recommended stops. The Four Mile House Bar & Restaurant is one of the best, brewing house/restaurants for miles and set within lovely gardens and is also walking distance from the property.

The property is just a 10-15 mins drive to downtown Victoria and 30-40 mins from Victoria airport and Swartz Bay ferry terminal. If you are fond of gardens, the beautiful Hatley Castle and Park is a national historic site and but a 5 min drive from the house. The house is surrounded by many beautiful walks and trails such as the popular Galloping Goose Trail. For those who enjoy kayaking, a kayak launch is right beside the house by the sandy cove. And for the best pub/dinner, the Four Mile Brew House is within walking distance, it is perfect for family lunch/dinner and is set in the most lovely gardens.
