Situated on a virtually private sandy cove in a quiet neighborhood, with stunning south facing view of the ocean and Olympic Mountains, this B&B offers the best of west coast beauty and comfort.

Enjoy a spacious master bedroom suite with stunning world-class views from your king size luxury bed and be awed by the beautiful sunrise/sunset from the balcony. Observe a variety of outdoor wildlife including harbor seals, otters, eagles and a host of seabirds from the balcony overlooking one of the best view of the west coast. Honeymooners and returning guests have treasured this tranquil spot.

The spacious en-suite bathroom provides underfloor heating for additional comfort with a walk-in shower and soaker tub large enough for two.

I know how important it is to sleep well and in comfort particularly when we travel. To wake up felling rested and refreshed to meet the new day with enthusiasm and eagerness is a significant part of a vacation. So I make it my priority that you sleep royally on a luxurious quality king size bed dressed in 100% beautiful cotton linens. The healthy giving negative irons created by the ocean will also provide you with the best sleep ever. Then a healthy west coast breakfast of granola, fresh fruit and yogurt or toast and toppings, coffee/tea and/or juice, will set you up for the rest of the day.

A second bright and spacious bedrooms is located on the main floor houses a quality queen size bed and overlooks the garden.

The absolute best part of this property is the marriage of comfortable, contemporary, tranquil interiors with world-class views that impacts on everyone who steps through the door. It's not something that comes across in photographs or text, the magic happens when you're encased in it. The images of the property and its views are precisely as they are in reality, photographed and downloaded directly from my camera to this site.

The property is beautiful landscaped with double wide driveway, fully fenced and gated for privacy. It is super-clean, tranquil, and but a 10-15 mins drive from downtown Victoria.

About The Owner

I immigrated to BC in 2001 from London, UK where I hosted travelers, which resulted in having many wonderful friends all over the world. I love people, friends and food, beautiful places and serenity. Our waterfront property is a sanctuary, we'd love you to experience the beauty of it and it's location. We re-designed and renovated it in 2009. S/W facing. A beautiful retreat.

The property is just a 10-15 mins drive to downtown Victoria and 30-40 mins from Victoria airport and Swartz Bay ferry terminal. If you are fond of gardens, the beautiful Hatley Castle and Park is a national historic site and but a 5 min drive from the house. The house is surrounded by many beautiful walks and trails such as the popular Galloping Goose Trail. For those who enjoy kayaking, a kayak launch is right beside the house by the sandy cove. And for the best pub/dinner, the Four Mile Brew House is within walking distance, it is perfect for family lunch/dinner and is set in the most lovely gardens.

An incredible property in an idyllic setting

This home was so lovely! Anita is such a great host, she customized our stay exactly to our specifications-who can ask for more? The water views are unbelievable, and the home is a work of art in its interior design. Anita greeted us every morning and guided us to the spots to sightsee or dine in beautiful Victoria. This place is very clean, well maintained, and the master suit has a large on-suite and the kitchen is very well appointed. Any family, couple or small group would love this place.

A wonderful home with fabulous hosts and amazing views

We (two couples) have traveled together for years and were blown away by the beauty of this location. Anita and JC are wonderful hosts with great suggestions for places to visit, restaurants and hikes. The local pub is in easy walking distance with good food and a great atmosphere (enough so that we went there twice in a row.

A very relaxing stay: it was nice to be able to relax and watching the ever changing view after our days touring around Victoria and surrounding areas.

You should be aware that commute traffic is heavy into and out of Victoria proper from the property and time your trips appropriately.

This is a lovely, quiet home with an incredible view. It is ideally located either for a short drive to downtown Victoria, or about 15 minutes out to Buchart Gardens.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Anita and hope to return!

View Royal is a quiet neighborhood and the best kept secret in Victoria. The area feels like you're in the countryside and yet it is only 10-15 mins drive to downtown Victoria. Discover beaches, beautiful trails including the well loved Galloping Goose Trail. National historic site, Hatley Castle at Royal Roads with it's gorgeous gardens is located just 10 mins drive from the property and is a highly recommended destination. Fisgard Lighthouse and Fort Rodd Hill are also local attractions and highly recommended. The Four Mile House Bar & Restaurant is one of the best, brewing house/restaurants for miles and set within beautiful gardens and is walking distance from the property.
