We personally greet all our guests when they arrive so that we can answer any questions they may have and to give them keys and show them around the apartment and local area.

Great Hosts/Apartment/Location

We booked a 3 night stay that happened to be during one of Dublin's biggest snowstorms in decades. We called Cathal and Gina and asked if we could move in a few days earlier, since our travel plans changed due to the storm. They drove down during the storm and let us move in 2 days earlier...what lifesavers. They met us with Wine, Chocolate and some other items. Spent time giving us recommendations on where to shop and how things worked in the apartment. The accommodations were more than enough for me, my wife and 2 teenage kids. The area is full of restaurant and pub options. There's a Spar Market and Fresh Market within minutes. Easy access to taxi's and the DART. About a 20 minute walk to the Dublin sights. Our flight was cancelled due to a storm back home and our hosts allowed us to stay one more night. We've done VRBO's a number of times and this is by far one of the better experiences, even in a major snowstorm in Dublin.

Great location, quiet upmarket area. Property really well appointed and in excellent condition.

Great place to stay away from the busy central area and crowds, but only a short walk away. Transport links are a few minutes walk away. We bought Leap cards which are much better value than the tourist hop on/off and enable travel on everything, except hop on/off, within Dublin County for half the price!

Dublin is very busy but great fora short stay. I’m not sure we could have found a better apartment for our family requirements.

The accommodations were exceptionally neat & clean! Located close enough to walk into downtown or easily catch a bus. Gina & Cathal were extremely responsive to all of our needs and questions, and as we are painfully American, there were many!

Perfect get away in Dublin

We can't say how very much we enjoyed our time in Dublin and our stay in Nautical Elegance was the perfect location and more than met all our needs for a short 3 day stay. We would love to return someday. We arrived from the US mid morning and by the time we made our transfer to the home around noon we were greeted by Gina and Cathal who showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment and gave us a very well put together booklet detailing everything we needed to know about the appliances, locations of hospitals, best local grocery stores, restaurants, etc. a great resource and we even visited one of their recommended restaurants nearby away from the crowds. Four of us were very comfortable and we were even surprised to find all the treats in the kitchen, including coffee, popcorn, etc. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you might need and there are a couple of grocery stores within 5 minute walk, one a small corner store and the other a bit larger. If you don't want to cook there are several good coffee shops, cafes, and restaurants easily within walking distance. The Hop on and Off Dublin Bus is just two blocks away and several city bus routes are nearby. Many places of interest are within walking distance, including the River Liffey, grand canal, and a local theater. it is in a very quiet and safe area away from the crowds so no worries about sleeping. We couldn't think of anything that would have made our trip more enjoyable. Cathal and Gina were very kind and helpful and quickly responded to my inquiries. We would very highly recommend Nautical Elegance for your time in Dublin.

The rejuvenated Docklands of Dublin is a great place for you to base yourself while visiting Dublin. Close enough to the major attractions yet quiet enough for a good nights sleep. There are plenty of good restaurants, bars and convenience stores practically on your doorstep. If you are feeling more adventurous why not try Wake Boarding or the Viking Splash Tour which are both just around the corner. To make sure you don't miss out any of the attractions why not take one of the many bus tours which offer two day tickets and a hop on hop off option so you can spend as long as you like exploring our great city. We particularly enjoy Kilmanham Jail which is full of history the Guinness Hop Store, home of the Black Stuff and Whiskey Corner (Whisky in Scotland) home of Jameson in Dublin.
