Experience the city and discover the Nob Hill neighborhood, nestled in one of Portland's finest areas of the city. This charming cottage style garden apartment has been tastefully renovated. Stylish and bright with classic yet modern furnishings, this spacious corner unit has one bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen. It has free wifi, a washer/dryer and a window air conditioning unit during the warm season. There is a non working fireplace with flamless candles that is cozy on a cool winter evening as well as a hot summer night.
The separate bedroom features a luxurious queen bed with a selection of linens that change with the season. The well equipped kitchen is stocked with basic pantry items that should cover everything you need when you first arrive.
Across the street from Wallace Park and steps from NW 23rd and Forest Park this unit has windows in every room with separate front and back door entrances. We invite you to relax on your private back patio for morning coffee or afternoon wine and summer dining in a peaceful courtyard setting. The nearby street car and city buses - or with your own automobile - makes for a convenient access to freeways for a smooth and hassle free commute.
New to the city is Biketown, Portland's bike rental program. The orange bikes are located throughout the city at orange colored racks.
Portland is home to some of the best dining in the nation with many outdoor cafes and world class farmers markets . Many of these are steps from your front door and with its quirky charm you will love exploring the shops, restaurants, food trucks, brew pubs, city parks and hiking trails just minutes away.
We loved the little cottage/condo. The location is fabulous, within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and the streetcar. It was well equipped and was very clean. Not much storage space so we had stuff everywhere but we were traveling for a month and it was fine. The bed is very comfortable and there are plenty of linens. Debbie even had eclipse glasses for us!!!
This is in a really great neighborhood. It’s next to a school/park with the hills surrounding it - it is really truly lovely. Easy walk down to restaurants/shops, walking downtown quite easy as well really (30min walk?). For the price, it’s 4 stars. The kitchen is stocked, but the quality of some items makes it difficult to really cook well (nicer knives, more silverware/plates needed, French press/tea kettle would be great, coffee grinder broken, trash can bags that fit). It works more for light use (breakfast/lunch), which considering Portland’s amazing food, worked for us. The bed/pillows are comfortable (and we are really picky about beds), but sags a bit in the middle if both people sleep next to each other in the middle. There is little storage, but a good amount of hangers in the area next to the bathroom. There wasn’t a tub plug, so we went out and purchased one for <$2. The living room is comfortable, and the heat works well. The owner was super responsive when we locked ourselves out just 10 minutes after we arrived! A few tweaks in the kitchen, a new box spring, some storage in the closet area and this place will be perfect. Overall, it’s a wonderfully located and charming clean place for the price.
This was a 4 day getaway we planned at the last minute, so I did not have time to really compare all the properties in Portland. The place was clean and everything worked, but found the kitchen was adequate compared to places we have rented that were fully stocked with condiments, spices etc. At $145 plus the extra fees and mandatory owner required insurance our nightly rate went up to over $180 per night. At that rate I would have expected a bit more, but it was a fine place. I just wish that we had more time to compare. Again, the property has a lot to offer guests; I just think that a little more things included would have made it a more pleasant experience. The owner was very responsive to all questions about the area and parking.
We loved where we stayed at. The place had everything that we needed for our stay.
Neighborhood was quiet and there was lots of parking. It was located in the perfect spot for us to go walking to go out to eat and all. Thank you Debbie
There was much to like about this rental unit. The location was great. There was so much in walking distance and the highway was close when needed. The updates done to the unit are all terrific. I loved the kitchen cabinets, counter and eating area. The furniture was stylish and comfortable and we loved, loved, loved the air conditioning during our stay in one of the hottest September weeks Portland has seen. The bed was comfy and the shower was good. Everything was clean and the unit was supplied with everything needed for a great stay.
As advertised, this apartment is charming. Located just far enough away from the action but close enough to everything you need, I loved my stay.
The apartment is fully stocked with everything .....better than my house!
I highly recommend this rental if you are looking in NW Portland.
