The bright airy and newly remodelled queen bedroom on the 2nd-floor has a full private ensuite bathroom with a shower, sun-drenched in the afternoon.

The bedroom has high-quality linens and a high-quality mattress that our guests rave about. Contemporary furnished and stylishly decorated this room has everything to make you feel at home – WiFi, fridge, Netflix, Prime, hairdryer, iron and more.

In total the spacious historic house offers two double rooms and one 2-bedroom suite, each spacious and with its own private ensuite bathroom, it sleeps 8 people. Ideal for couples, families or small groups to get away and connect.

If you need anything, we’re close by and ready to help! We live in the house, but you’ll enjoy plenty of privacy with a separate guest entrance and covered porch, on the opposite side of the house.

You can simply relax and enjoy soothing views of the pasture from every room at our airy retreat, or fill your day with indoor and outdoor activities, between the indoor lounge, covered porch, picnic tables and dock on the river 200 feet away – the perfect spot to launch your kayak, about 1km upriver from Mahone Bay.

Our welcome package includes Lindor chocolate, water, coffee and tea in your room and in the guest lounge. We also offer complimentary bikes and have easy access to the Rum Runners Trail, perfect for the outdoorsy and adventurous. For beach lovers, we provide beach towels. And if you want to lounge indoors, we’ve got plenty of maps, books, cards and board games to pass the time. Whether you want to interact with other guests or keep to yourself, it's up to you.
