Thoughtfully decorated home that is well located
The Raven’s Nest is quaint and lovely. The hosts were wonderful to work with. This home is minutes by foot or car from the historic district of Livingston and a 10 minute walk from the Yellowstone River. It was a perfect oasis for my husband and me.

Cozy and clean
The check in process was seamless with excellent communication from Traci. The home is quaint and cozy with what looks like local art throughout. The kitchen has just about everything you need and a great island to gather around for evening drinks and laughter. The beds were very comfortable (slightly soft for those who wonder what our particular kind of comfy is...). Located in a quiet neighborhood with the occasional train passing through town. Great restaurants nearby, and you may get lucky enough to have a star sighting, as we did! We would definitely stay here again, and suggest you should as well!

Perfect Pairing
The house is lovely - lovely colors, lovely art, lovely theme. The beds are very comfy with nice linens. Attention to details was so spot-on. I very much appreciated being able to park in the driveway - as the streets are quite narrow. We did some cooking - and everything we needed was there. It was exactly what we were wanting and needing. Thank you!

About the host

Hosted by Traci and Jamison Isaly

Host profile image
Jamison and I have lived in Montana for 40 years. We bought a small farmstead in 1983, the year we were married, on Quinn Creek road, which is located near the Bozeman Pass. We have lived in the same cabin for 36 years and raised 3 children & many cats, dogs, chickens, pigs, calves, horses, ponies, plants, vegetables and numerous other critters. We love Montana! We love the outdoor arena, big sky, clean water, fresh air, and open space and family! We are both hard working committed community members. Jamison is in his 29th year of teaching in Livingston. He is the high school Industrial Technology teacher at Park High School! I am a working artist, dabbling in a variety of mediums. My work can be found at The Raven’s Nest and in local shops in Livingston and other artisan shops in Montana. We hope we can help you experience a wonderful vacation by allowing us to be your host & hostess at The Raven's Nest, here in Livingston, Montana!

Warmest regards,

Traci Jo & Jamison Isaly

Why they chose this property

Why this property:

We purchased this quaint and charming little home in November of 2013. It was in tough shape, but nothing that could not be fixed up! We spent the a year and 8 months remodeling each room... some with lots of repurposed components. We tried to stay true to the simple, yet fine architectural lines of the original structure and found materials that were complimentary to the original intent. We were able to establish a fresh new easy-living style to the design elements and space. Many of building materials were either repurposed, purchased, harvested, or made locally. Because of the crisp clean & simplistic approach to the elemental decor, the space feels fresh, friendly and very inviting.

What makes this property unique

The location of this rental is so perfectly convenient, yet allows for some quiet space and privacy. The house was built strong and tight so is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Everything you need is literally minutes away, including walking/biking paths, the river, groceries, art, museums, dining, coffee shops, and even medical care!

Throughout this lovely home you will be introduced to many of our local writers, artists, and musicians by way of their featured works!
