ABOUT THIS CONDO. This is a 2230 square foot (plus 1310 sq ft Lanai/Garden) GROUND FLOOR Ocean Front (3) bedroom (3) bathroom condominium in the Honua Kai Resort Konea tower.

This home has been custom furnished by interior designer Natasha Plitt, and is part of the Makai Collection at Honua Kai, a selection of residences showcasing the very best of resort living on Ka’anapali Beach, Maui. It features a prime oceanfront location, has expansive indoor and outdoor living spaces, contemporary resort furnishings, and endless Maui sunsets. It provides a unique take on island living not easily found elsewhere on West Maui with a Viking gas BBQ outdoor kitchen, oversized lanai. Inside, the home features a open concept living area complete with a Viking gourmet kitchen, Vitamix blender, a dining area for up to eight (8) guests, two (2) master bedrooms with ensuite, a 3rd bedroom and bathroom, insuite laundry, and Honua Kai's first Savant Home Automation system where you can control everything including the lighting and drapes with a touch of a button. Including 6 Sonos audio zones and room subscribed Spotify account for music streaming.

As for the sleeping arrangements and other amenities, it has a King Bed in all 3 bedrooms (guest bedroom is splittable into twins), and a Queen sofa sleeper in living. All rooms have their own flat screen TV's with cable. A Blu-Ray DVD is available in the living room. Wireless AC Fast Internet is also included free of charge.

Only the Ground Floor units offer tall 11' ceilings, oversized lanai's, and very quick and easy access in and out (from the after market keyed Lanai or condo door) ... no elevators needed. This ground floor ocean front residence has direct access to the pools and the beach and its lanai opens up to lush lawns & walkways with views of the ocean. My unit is conveniently located in the middle of the resort and is not located on the outside end caps of either tower.

Included also are many extra personal touches from a proud owner in the condo such as an iHome alarm clocks, keyed lanai, Vitamix blender, bathroom stools, and many other owner supplied goodies for your use such as beach chairs, a beach umbrella, an ice chest, boogie boards, beach towels, two pack n play's with a 3" thick mattress, bed bumpers, strap on booster seat, etc.

Known Construction / Maintenance Disclaimer: Luana Development Parters LP is building 72 townhouses in the area. The work is in the empty grass field on the east side of Honua Kai (non-ocean side) beyond the path that circles the bowl between the two towers. These are 2 story homes. A fence was constructed to limit dust and views of the work. Allowed work time is from 9am – 5pm M-Sat with light work expected between 8-9 AM and 5-6 PM. This unit, Konea 102, does not face the construction but rather faces the ocean. Construction may be seen when looking out of south facing windows at an extreme angle. It is considered an un-impacted unit.

We love Maui and after staying at Honua Kai Resort for the first time in 2009, we fell in love with this place. It was perfect for us. We have always struggled to find a nice condo with all the amenities we were looking for. Honua Kai Resort was the answer for us and that was what initially brought me to purchase my first condo at Honua Kai. Since then I have purchased 5 more ground floor units and now have 6. In my opinion ground floor units are the most convenient and the absolute best. They have quick and easy access to the outside, the pool, and everything else. We just love this place.

Perfect Maui location for extended family

We are an extended family of 7 adults and 1 infant, celebrating a retirement. Honua Kai ground floor unit Konea 102 perfectly met our family's needs. It was clean and well maintained. Two of our couples each had a bedroom with en suite facilities. The third couple had their own bedroom and shared the hall bathroom with our single who slept on the sofa bed. We loved being able to walk out through the lanai to the many pools (steps away) and Duke's Restaurant (also steps away). The grounds were gorgeous! The beach, however, was not conducive for boogie boarding. The location was great for access to all activities; short drive to most. Monty, the caretaker, was always available to answer questions and promptly attended to any issues that arose in the unit. We would definitely stay here again; loved it!

Beautiful place!!!

This condo is AMAZING! The resort is great, the grounds are beautiful, beach just across the lawn (and pass the pool and bar/restaurant!) This condo is on the ground floor so you can get out to the pool without having to walk through the hallways of the hotel, just get out of your lanai. The tropical landscaping creates great privacy, it's very private and surprisingly quiet considering the proximity to the pool and restaurant. Beautiful place, spacious, clean, stylish.

Beautiful and luxurious place

The property was perfect and lots of things for the family to do. We were a family of 21 and rented 3 properties from Brandon. All the kids had a great time and the adults all got to relax and enjoy our vacation. It was great that we all had our own rooms to go back to at the end of the day. The place was spacious! We would defiantly come back.

Beautiful resort, very spacious property

My husband and I recently stayed here with our two adult children and their significant others. The resort is very beautiful. We took many walks along the beach as well as along the boardwalk which runs through the resort property and beyond. We enjoyed the pools and there were always ample pool chairs available. We didn't use them, but there are beach chairs in the condo to use if you want to relax near the ocean. The fitness center is great too. There is a grocery store within walking distance and a small market inside the resort. Everyone at the resort was very friendly and helpful. The condo is very spacious. There was ample room in the kitchen, dining area and living room for our group of six. The patio area had plenty of space as well. Although it's on the first floor the landscaping provides plenty of privacy when sitting outside. Its a quick walk out the door to the pools and beach. Our check in process was efficient and much appreciated after a long day of travel from Wisconsin. Our vehicle was unloaded - suitcases, groceries and all by the staff at the resort in a very timely manner. Our vehicle valet parked. We used self parking the rest of the time. Monty was friendly and answered any questions that we had. Any concerns/issues that we had were dealt with very efficiently. Both the owner and Monty (the local contact) were very helpful and easy to work with. We were asked to provide any helpful suggestions to improve future stays which we did. If back in the area, we would definitely consider staying at this property/resort again. While in the areas, we loved our dinners at Feast of LeLe, Merrimans, & Mama's Fish House. We enjoyed our whale watching tour with the Pacific Whale Foundation, snorkeling trip with Trilogy, a visit to Iao Valley State Park, hiking around the Nakalele Blow hole area, Maui gold Pineapple tour, Maui Brewing Company tour and tasting and a few stops along the Road to Hana. It was a great place for our family to enjoy time together. One last note, be prepared to deal with traffic in and out of Lahaina at certain times. We were not aware of this and arrived later than expected from the airport. It's not a far drive, but very slow traffic at certain times of the day.

Beautiful spacious unit, great location!

102 Konea Tower at Honua Kai is an end of the building, ground floor property that comfortably slept our family of 6 (including a baby). It is steps away from the pools & a short walk to Duke's Restaurant, the boardwalk and beach. The condo is beautifully maintained and equipped with everything you could possibly need. We will return!
