A great house in a fun area
We had a really nice in the Coachella Valley this year. Our family of five found this house to be roomy and well equipped. The pool (heated) and hot tub were wonderful. The outdoor cooking area was really convenient. We grilled up some steaks we bought from the Farmer's Market on Saturday. Great food to be found, worth checking out. One thing to note: this house is on a really busy and loud street. It's also somewhat close to a flight path. It's not quiet. It wasn't great having early morning traffic or late night street racing when trying to sleep. That said, the Host is really easy to work with, communicative. It's a nice spot.

Outstanding
We have stayed at many VRBOs and this one rates as one of the best. So many positives: air conditioning, pool, hot tub, chess, outdoor fire pit, bbq, kitchen, beds... The owner was responsive to questions and accommodated an early check in. We would definitely go back.

Best family holiday ever!
We stayed at this beautiful property for ten days and didn't run out of things to do. The location is close to great downtown restaurants and shopping but in a quiet, upscale neighbourhood. We walked, went for runs and biked, appreciating the six bikes provided, took a day trip to Joshua Tree National Park, which was spectacular and visited the great Art Museum. And, of course, we spent a lot of time in the lovely pool and attached Jacuzzi. If you are unfamiliar with saltwater pools, it means no chlorine smell! The kitchen was well-equipped, and the house had everything we could need, including a generous supply of swimming towels. The beds were comfy, and the linens were new. We wanted for nothing! We would be happy to stay there again.

Perfect Getaway Spot with Friends
There were 4 of us and the house worked out great for us, the layout of the house was great and the backyard amenities were perfect. My friends had never been to Palm Springs before so it was great that we had such a fun house to stay at. It was quick to get anywhere and the grocery store was an easy walk or bike ride away. There is a bit of road noise but it's fairly quiet at night and it didn't distract from our enjoyment of the pool and spa!

Budget and kid Friendly
This is a bit of a trickier review to give. We rented this property for a vacation with our daughter and her 2 kids (10, 8). They live in a very busy urban environment which was advantageous because the location of this home is very noisy. For them, the noise was totally normal but for my husband and I, the traffic noise was frustrating. We all run white noise from our phones for sleeping and that was definitely needed in this setting. Overall though, the pool, pool toys, corn hole and oversized chess board was a lot of fun for the kids. They hadn’t been out of Canada in 2 years and had a really great time which made everyone’s vacation experience enjoyable. We prepared most meals at the home and the kitchen was well stocked. Check in was very easy and check out was REALLY easy. I’ve rented many VRBO properties and sometimes the expectation of what was required to leave the property made me question why I was even being charged for cleaning. Exiting this property was so simple and when you’re travelling with kids…that was really appreciated. My daughter said she would rent the home again for another time when he husband could also join in but for my husband and me…the location is a deterrent.

I grew up and still reside in Redondo Beach. I have been visiting Palm Springs with my family since i was a kid. I was recently married to my wife Tanya at Spencer's ( Oct. 2014) in Palm Springs

Why they chose this property

I started to fall in love with the history of The Alexander built homes some years ago. This property and all the others in Racquet Club Estates feature ¼ acre lots with modest sized homes of 1225 sq. feet which make the grounds feel quite large. The neighborhood is also very near downtown.
