8/10 Good

Beautiful property in great location to wine country. Quiet and spacious property for our group.
The property was perfect for our group of 8 (four couples). Each couple had their own bedroom with a queen bed, and there are three full bathrooms so only 2 couples had to share a shower. My wife and I stayed in the main level master bedroom and the closets and bathroom were really spacious and our bed was very comfortable! Didn't have a chance to use the pool, but the patio space was perfect for our group to gather outside with the wonderful weather (clear skies and 80's) we had during our visit. We used the kitchen space the most, gathering for morning coffee and breakfast as we planned our events for the day. We would meet there again for happy hour and appetizers while we regrouped before we went out to dinner. This property has a lot of space, with many other comfortable rooms and spaces if you want or need some privacy. This was perfect for a few of us who needed to do some work or make personal calls. Other than the kitchen and our bedrooms, we used the adjacent TV room a lot to catch up on ESPN and the sporting events. The property was clean and stocked with all the essentials. All we needed is what we wanted to eat or drink. There was Uber available in a timely manner, and reasonably priced for all the places we wanted to go. Diana kept us up to date on all we needed prior to arrival, and check-in and check-out went very smooth. Although we never met Diana personally, we had her contact information and she responded to our text questions immediately. We never felt like we were without her support if we needed it. The entire process from booking to check out was efficient and professional.. The property was perfect for our group as we celebrated my wife's 50th birthday. I recommend it highly!

"Spectacular Vacation Spot"
This property met all our wants and needs from ages 5-70. Waking up to the pool every morning was just delightful. Our party had 9 adults and 6 children. We had 4 vehicles with space to spare. There was an abundance of bee's around the pool area & the kids got stung several times but not allergic. Very spacious and comfortable. It is turn-key. The owner did not forget anything . My Family & I Thank You Diana & Anita

Truly an oasis in wine country!
This house was perfect for our girl's trip to Oregon for the Fueled by Fine Wine Half Marathon. There was plenty of room for our group (9 ladies) and had room for more. The pool was perfect for lounging out post-race! The kitchen was well stocked with the best appliances (we used the Vitamix a TON!). The owner was very helpful recommending a few wine tour companies. Highly recommend this property!

About the host

Host profile image
I practice law in nearby Portland, Oregon and enjoy world travel. I began renting another home several years ago and found that I enjoyed hosting guests and supplying the luxury comforts that most people enjoy on a relaxing vacation. While staying in fine hotels is enjoyable, I also love camping.

Why they chose this property

Villa Leal: Wine Country is located on 10 beautiful acres that include pastures and forested areas. This property blends luxury with natural beauty which is Nirvana. Not to mention the proximity to great wineries and excellent local dining. The summers are wonderful to cook in the custom kitchen after visiting one of many local farmer's markets.

What makes this property unique

Vila Leal has plenty of space with a basement that has a pool table, bar, sofa and pull out couch to the main living area that includes 4 beautiful fireplaces, a large master suite with loft overlooking the gardens and pool, to the gourmet kitchen, and the 3 bedrooms upstairs (one is also a master suite). There is a beautiful sitting room with fireplace right next to the outdoor gas fire pit. If you enjoy privacy, luxury and nature, you will love Villa Leal: Wine Country.
