Great place to get away

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a wedding and it was the perfect get away spot. We were only 10 minutes from town out on a private ranch. The house is very clean and decorated really nice. It appears to be an updated modular home but looked very nice. There is a big back porch to hang out on and have your morning coffee or grill. We did not cook any meals but it did appear to have everything you would need to grill outside or cook inside. The beds are very comfortable and clean. This place definitely beats staying in a hotel! You have plenty of room to move around and relax.

There are some really nice shops in town. I recommend stopping by Cowgirls and Lace if you like to shop. It you want a little more adventure go to Jacobs Well about 20 minutes away. Just keep in mind if you plan to swim you will need to make a reservation. If not you can always hike down to see it for free.

Perfect for group

  • 5 of 5

We do a family trip every year for Fredericksburg Trade Days and we've stayed in a different place every year. This one was by far the best so far. Lots of room, great patio and views. Loved the big cow in the front yard. The lock on the gate at the road could use some oil, but otherwise, we'd love to stay here again.

Well kept home has very nice layout and space with tasteful rustic decor. Peaceful walkable property with hill country views. The outdoor deck is perfect for gathering or quiet star gazing. Bonus is the yard art (longhorn steer) that greets you when crest the incline driveway. Highly recommend. .

Hill Country Gem

  • 5 of 5

We attended a wedding in Dripping Springs this weekend and rented this home. Rusty responded quickly to all communications and made the rental process very easy. It was in a beautiful location with spectacular views. The house was clean and decorated in a tasteful and fun country theme. The amenities in this house were perfect and we wanted for nothing. If you are looking for a nice, affordable house for a quiet, relaxing time away, we highly recommend Madrona Ranch.
