Everything you need for your overnight stay! Rest peacefully in the king size bed. Wake to a cup of coffee with your choice of the Keurig k-cup coffee machine or the Mr. Coffee maker. Start-up supplies for coffee and tea including sweeteners and creamer are provided. Hair dryer, ironing board & iron and WiFi, basic cable tv & Netflix. A Sears Park beach pass for Lake Pocotopaug, beach chairs, towels and small cooler are provided.

Quiet and clean studio
We stayed here for family weekend at Wesleyan University. Very clean and comfortable About 25 minutes from the college. Located on a very pretty lake that you cannot see from inside I imagine there are lots of water- things to do the warm weather We would stay here again!

As a wife, mother and career woman, sometimes I need my own space. This 500 guest house is value packed! My husband and I have enjoyed convenient romantic getaways from our kids. There have also been times when I've been able to focus without distractions or interruptions to complete tasks for my business. We've even preserved our sanity over the holidays with in-laws in town. Put them up here for their stay and everyone will be glad you did.

Now we are offering to share this space with you. So you can have a place nearby to escape the chaos, drama, and frustrations of home. If only for a night, you can get away from it all without going far.

What makes this property unique

Because I use this space for myself as my own Zen retreat, it contains all of the things I find helpful which you may too. From a tea kettle with a variety of herbal teas or coffee makers with several favorite blends I think you'll find something to please. I've also shared my collection of essential oils if you're into aromatherapy. If you prefer to work, I have an adjustable desktop so you can decide between sitting or standing to work. The space also has WiFi and Netflix for the tv.
