Interesting building but poor layout.
Our family of 2 adults and 2 daughters stayed for 3 nights in late July. The structure itself and the decor are quite nice. The layout, however, is very dysfunctional. The master bedroom is upstairs but the small bathroom and small second bedroom are downstairs. There is no central A/C and we were quite miserable with the heat. We are Floridians so we know about heat. We never thought a place in Santa Fe would be without Central A/C. The home does have a single A/C blower in the ceiling but it fails to cool the master BR completely and it doesn’t seem to reach the downstairs bathroom or bedroom at all. There was a rather large electric fan and we used it all around, in different spots, depending on where we were in the home.
The location looks like it’s 100 feet from Canyon Road but there isn’t a walk through from the back yard. Rather you must walk away from Canyon Rd, to the street behind it and then walk around the block to get to Canyon Road.
The only door in the place is to the quite small bathroom with a tiny sink. The door does not close as it is warped and hits the floor at about 60% closed.
Overall a cute place but going downstairs to the bathroom was quite an inconvenience. The very small bathroom was another disappointment.
