About Lucia Waters

My family consists of myself, my husband Colin and our girls Sienna and Bianca. Last but not least is our maltipoo Sasper, who still believes he is the number 1 child as he was our first!!

My husband was born in Britain to Jamaican parents who moved to B.C. when he was 4. I was born in Alberta and lived in a tiny town near Athabasca. My mother is Dutch and my father is Antiguan. We moved to lovely B.C. when I was 11.

In our free time we love to hang at the beach or do anything that involves the outdoors. One of our favorite getaways is going to Whistler, where our outdoor adventures continue. Colin and I are in the film industry and enjoy some of the travel opportunities that this presents . The last place our job took us was Sooke, B.C, a lovely town on the Juan de Fuca Strait. We saw deer walking down the street, wild turkeys hanging out in the ditches by the country road and herons in their nests with their young. Quite the excursion! We feel very blessed to live in a province that is so rich with sites, scenery and things to do all within a few minutes to a few hours of travel.

Five things Colin and I can't live without:

Fitness, good movies, great food, family and friends, not necessarily in that order!!

Our cottage is special because it was decorated with detailed attention to function and comfort with an elegant upscale touch. When you arrive you will see that pictures can not do it justice!! In addition, the luxury bed will guarantee an amazing sleep after a day of fun and adventure.The suite is stocked with everything one could need including a coffee grinder and coffee beans and teas, and additional special touches like lavender scented bath salts and soaps. This property is conveniently located 2 blocks from the King Edward stop on the Canada Line, and there are buses that run in every direction.

The unique benefits of our suite include it's superb location, the walking score of 99% , bustling Cambie street 2 blocks west and funky Main Street 2 blocks east of us. Colin & I are thrilled to have guests and are accessible in person , txt or email to assist in any questions our guests have. We can offer information tailored to interests and budgets to ensure our guests get the most of their visit. The suite is also stocked with maps, excursion ideas and flyers for local restaurants.

A lovely comfortable and well appointed apartment in convenient residential neighborhood

The apartment is downstairs below a neat and well landscaped home in a well maintained residential neighborhood. The living area was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for meals. The apartment was immaculate, hot water was plentiful and the laundry equipment was efficient. Location was excellent for easy access via light rail to downtown and quite walkable to Van Dusen Garden and Queen Elizabeth Park.

The property is exactly as the photos depict, exceptionally clean, beautifully furnished and cosy

Arriving from England, my visit was for two and a half months so it was important that coming back to the suite had a welcoming feel, this did not disappoint. Also, as a single woman it was also important that I felt safe in every aspect, the 5 minute walk from the sky train through a residential area to opening the front door was an absolute pleasure.

The suite itself is to a high standard, beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable couch and bed, granite kitchen work tops, cosy lighting, nothing has been overlooked.

The suite is appointed on a tree lined street, in a desirable residential area only a 5 minute walk from Main Street which is a fabulous area full of unique shops, bars and restaurants. The sky train at King Eward is a 5 minute walk and only 3 stops from downtown so you have the best of both worlds on your doorstep.

Lucia and Colin, the owners, are absolutely delightful, they do not impose but should you require anything, they are more than helpful.

I have no hesitation in recommending this property and will definitely be back.

Wonderful home and neighbourhood

The suite is exactly the same as shown in the pictures. My husband and I have a wonderful stay with everything we need, from towels and linen to sewing kit. The owner has been helpful in answering our few questions. We can park our rental car in front of the premises which is very convenient. I would give it a 4.5 over 5 for this accommodation.
