What was really good was that nothing was a bother for the owners at anytime! Location was handy with nothing except home more than a 30 min drive! There are two houses on the property which makes a very good choice for extended family holidays! Both have great views down the valley, from the substantial decks ! Would definitely look at this again in any future visits to that part of the Hunter.

Lovely views
Nestled at the base of a mountain, which is State Forest, the property has beautiful views of the region. We were very comfortable and all necessary facilities were provided.

COVID escape
Plenty of space in terms of bedrooms and outdoor sitting areas. Great place for walking around the property. Very close to Margan winery which was a very pleasant wine tasting experience. The ‘Bare’ shop which specialises in goat’s products and has an olive grove (with produce on sale) is 2 minutes down the road and has fantastic products. Property just needs a bit of maintenance at the moment i.e broken towel rail, broken lamps and dirty bench seating in the dinning room which detracts from the experience. Easily fix with a trip to ikea. My reading of the site was that it was fenced for pets but it isn’t completely secured so the dog remained on lead the whole time outside.

We are a young family from Sydney. We try as much as possible to get up to the Hunter with the kids.

Why they chose this property

We purchased Rosamund Hill Estate as a lifestyle investment for ourselves and our kids. We are supplementing the costs through weekend short stays. We hope you enjoy the property as much as we do and treat it like your own. You'll get lost in the beauty that Rosamund Hill Estate is.

What makes this property unique

The view is regarded as one of the best in the Hunter Valley. There is no better place then to sit back with your locally bought wine and relax will watching the wildlife walk by or the kids out playing in the paddocks
