Best weekend

  • 5 of 5

This cabin gave my family and me the best experience. It made us feel at home after a long day of being out and having fun. It was absolutely beautiful and we did not want to leave when the time came. If you are going to be staying in the area you should most defiantly look into this cabin. It was one of the best experiences we had.

Awesome property

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a wonderful stay for three nights at your property. The house was beautifully decorated, clean and very spacious. It accommodated five adults and 4 children comfortably, with the addition of our blow up mattresses for the kids. The town of Payson was very close to grocery stores and restaurants. We were hoping to see some snow so the kids could go sledding. The owner told us to head north on highway 87 to find some snow. Sure enough, about an hour away, we found a nice hill for sledding. The kids and some of the adults had a wonderful time. Thank you for providing us with everything we needed for a perfect after Christmas family get-away.

Great House and Beautiful Setting

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I rented this house and brought my 2 daughters and my parents. We also brought our 2 dogs. The house is beautiful and very good size. It did not feel cramped for the 6 of us at all. It is decorated in a western ranch theme and has plenty of comfortable space to sit. There is a very nice kitchen. The part we enjoyed the most was the beautiful outdoor settings and the fire pit. We sat out for hours enjoying the nice scenery and mountain views. It seems to be a working ranch and there are cattle roaming around. The house has it's own separate fence so your dogs and kids have plenty of safe space to play. It is about a 10 mile ride to downtown Payson where there is shopping, restaurants and entertainment. There is also a casino but we didn't go there. We can't wait to rent this house again. The only negative comment I would make is that although our full security deposit was refunded it took a full month.

Car: recommended

The quiet town of Payson is a short drive away and has a variety of stores including a Basha's grocery store, a Walgreens pharmacy and a Wal-Mart. Previous guests have enjoyed a scenic drive on the Mogollon Rim (FR 300), visiting the Tonto Bridge State Park.

Tonto National Forest is a nice outing definitely go to Tonto Natural Bridge and drive the Apache Trail! Four seasons motorsports rents out the ATV's,, they're number is (928) 474-3411 if you have further questions. We are at the base of the Mazatzal mountains and they are fun to explore via ATV. There is a brooke that is a 5 minute walk from the property though it runs seasonally. Lake Roosevelt is a short drive away for fishing and a nice outing!
