Discover this amazing completely renovated home in fort lauderdale just minutes from the beach and walking distance to tons of restaurants and supermarkets. Relax outdoors by the brand new salt water pool while overlooking the lake.

The Space:

It's a 3 bedrooms 2 full baths house completely renovated by Modern Restoration, INC. No details were overlooked. The space is very modern and airy. It consists of terrazzo floors through out the living, dining, 2 of the bedrooms and kitchen area. The 3 bedrooms have queen size beds. The master bedroom has an on suit with a huge shower and walking closet. the other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom with a double vanity and tub. One of the bedrooms has a daybed, ideal for kids. Also, the sofa in the living room can be use for sleeping for a single person.

An open layout with tons of windows, helps you take in the view of Lake Melva, which makes you forget you are in the middle of the city and in walking distance to US1.

The house has been furnished with new and vintage mid-century modern pieces. All mattress, lines, towels, dishes, silverware are new. All appliances are new. The dining room consisted of a Charles Eames table and chairs. The separate breakfast table, overlooking the lake, is designed by Noguchi and has a set of 4 Eames white chairs.

Outside, a pair of lounge chairs and a huge umbrella will help you relax and take the scenery in. There is a table with 4 chairs and a 6 people outdoor sofa. Don't be surprised if an iguana or a duck comes to say hi!

Guest Access

Guess have access to the entire home and pool. The house has Cable TV and Wifi.

Interaction with Guests

My goal is to meet all guest upon arrival in order to give them the access code and show them around the house and answer any questions they might have. Sometimes that's impossible so I will arrange everything over the phone, text or email. Privacy of my guests is also valued, so minimal interaction is possible.

The Neighborhood

The Modern Lake house is located in Poinsettia Heights which is a residential neighborhood established in the 1950's. You couldn't ask for a better location! Walking distance to Starbucks, Chipotle, Pei-weii, etc etc. Also, walking distance to retailer shopping and supermarkets. The house is Only 2.5 miles to the beach and also to Las Olas boulevard. A very short drive to Wilton Manors and The Galleria Mall. About 45 mins to south beach and 30 mins to Miami.

Getting Around

Renting a car is recommended in Fort Lauderdale, otherwise Uber or taxis are available.

-Non-Smoking anywhere inside the house or near the entry door. A special cleaning fee of $250 will be applied to your credit card if you or any guests smoke or burn any substance within the interior. Please no candles and/or incense inside the house.


-Check out is promptly at 11 am.


-This is a family neighborhood. Please respect the neighbors. 


-Keep the house neat

-If you use the grill, please clean off the cooking surface when you are finished.


-Park in the driveway (away from the grass). Do not park on the grass, there are sprinklers under it.


-Do not remove items from property

-No glass around the pool


-Parties are not permitted


-The actions of all guests are the sole responsibility of the reserving guest 


-Please leave the bed linens on the bed and the towels on the bedroom floors.

-Only 1 key of front door is provided (Which opens the back door as well). This key cannot be copied. Please take good care of it. If lost, there will be a $250 non-refundable charge.

-The home is privately owned and the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of any guest.

-By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests, and those whom they invite to use the premises, are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from the use of the premises and the owners of the property cannot be held liable.


Damages Policy: 
We tried hard to keep the lake house in pristine condition so the reserving guest is responsible for any breakage, missing items, damages to the building or furnishings including spills, burns, stains etc
