Welcome to Lakeside Lodge! Perfect for a family getaway or romantic retreat on beautiful Lake Eufaula in Abbeville, Alabama. Lake Eufaula,'Bass Capital of the World' is a 45,000 freshwater acre lake that you can enjoy year-round with fishing, skiing, jet skiing, swimming, tubing or just exploring in a canoe and other outdoor recreation.

Lakeside Lodge is a charming 1600 square foot home located just off main lake in a side cove. Deepwater private boat dock is perfect for fishing or docking your boat, and large deck provides a peaceful paradise for enjoying dinner with a waterfront view. Only 1 mile from Bakers Landing and Thomas Mill Creek boat ramp. Fifteen minutes from the historic City of Eufaula that has lovely historic district, antique shops and wide variety of restaurants.

House is 3BR, 2BA that sleeps 8 with king size bed in master bedroom w/ private bath, queen size bed in second and queen in third bedroom, bunks in other room. Fully equipped kitchen, microwave, stove, refrigerator with ice maker/water dispenser, grill, SAT TV/DVD, WIFI connection, real wood burning fireplace & fish cleaning station. Back porch with seating and umbrella table to enjoy waterfront view. Power outlet near boat ramp and extension cord provided at house.

Typically three night minimum. One-time cleaning fee of $100.00. Damage deposit of $200, deposit and will be returned within a week after check-out provided no damage has occurred. Memorial Day & 4th of July require five day minimum. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ALLOWED and no smoking on property. Property is located at 855 Mill Creek Road in Abbeville, Alabama.

Check in is 4:00 p.m. unless an earlier time is coordinated with the owner. Check out is 11:00 a.m. Linens and towels provided. No smoking in the house. No pets.

Cancellation policy: Holidays bookings will be refunded only if we rent to another party within 7 days of check in. 60 days prior to check in forfeit $200 deposit. 30-60 days prior to check in 50% of rental fee forfeited. Less than 21 days prior to check in no refund, but deposit will be refunded.

We have been enjoying Lake Eufaula for over twenty years. We built this place in about 2007 and have worked on it over the years to make it our own. It has all of the amenities of home, but offers the perfect getaway. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Beautiful lake house in charming part of Alabama

Paulette and Doug were excellent hosts and were very accommodating when we needed a place to stay after evacuating Florida from Hurricane Irma. In short notice, we were able to get in to the house and get some rest from the long drive. Swimming and fishing from the dock was a lot of fun for the kids and adults. Comfortable beds and very cozy and clean furniture and decorations. We plan on staying again in the future when we're not running away from a hurricane. Would recommend a stay for anyone.

Excellent!

Granted, my expectations may be lower than others because this was a fishing trip with my sons and brothers, but this was by far the best lodging we've experienced on our annual trip that we've been taking now for 15 years. The owners were exceptional, the home was extremely clean (although I'm sure it was a mess when we left after 3 adult men and two teenage boys lived there for 4 days), and the home had everything we needed. And to top it all off, we caught plenty of those largemouth bass that Lake Eufaula is famous for. Highly recommended!

Awesome place!

My family used this home as our "Home Base" for the Thanksgiving holiday. Several members were staying nearby in Georgia to go hunting, but we were all able to gather on Thanksgiving Day for an awesome dinner. There was plenty of room and everything we needed was there.

We were so comfortable that we didn't miss be "home for the holidays". Thank you so much for sharing this awesome place!

We loved staying at this property. We had family traveling together and the home made it so nice for everyone to stay together. If there are any negatives at all , it would be the internet service. But we loved the house!!

Great Weekend With Friends

Such a fun, cozy house. I was concerned that the house was small from the pictures. Not the case at all. It slept 8 people with no problem. It's located in a quiet cove with absolutely no boat wake or traffic. The boat ramp is conveniently located right down the road, about a mile away. Also, there is a store at the entrance to the road that has simple things that we had forgotten. Couldn't have asked for much more from this house. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking a quiet getaway.

Take Phoenix City (Exit #10)

Go right toward Phoenix City

You’ll come to 431/230 and the road will end stay on left side and turn left at 431 South. Drive through town. You will see a road heading to Dothan/Eufaula.

Take a right onto 431 toward Eufaula and stay on that road until you come to Eufaula. Drive through Eufaula

Go to Mile Marker 60

Turn left @ 95 Junction (There will be a White Oak Creek Campground sign)

(Just past a fire station. If you see a salvage/lumber yard on your right you have missed your turn.

Go 3.8 miles to mile marker 60 (yes, just like the last one)

Take left at Old River Road/County Road 97 (Church on corner)

There is also a sign to Hardridge Creek

Follow until you cross the lake

Just past the lake you’ll see 2 stores (Baker’s Landing & Buddy’s)

Turn left in between the 2 stores.

Stay on this road. House is about 3 houses in from where the road dead ends. House is tan with brownish/green shutters. Next door to 2 story home (on right)

The 2 story home is Doug’s parents and he will be there if he isn’t at the site.
