Gorgeous beach front property in the upscale Surfside subdivision. This Non-Smoking, pet-friendly home is 2 bedroom/ 2 bathrooms with new mattresses on all beds including sleeper sofa. A fully furnished kitchen (except for your food). Washer and dryer provided for your use. A lower and upper deck provides beautiful views of the Gulf. Swimming, boating, fishing, walking along the beach, shell collecting, and dolphin-watching are just a few of the wonderful activities you can do here. Our booking days are Saturday to Saturday.

Ask about our brand new property, The Hilton! Listing number 996955. The Hilton is right next door to Lost Palms. It is a pet friendly, 4 bed/3-1/2 bath, with a private pool in the deck. It has two beautiful master suites featuring balconies for viewing spectacular Gulf Coast sunrises and sunsets and a 3rd king size bedroom with sink vanity. All 4 bedrooms have ceiling fans and flat screen TV's. The home also features a bunkroom which sleeps 4, bringing the total occupancy up to 10 people. Need more room? Book Lost Palms and The Hilton together for a total occupancy of 16. We book from Saturday to Saturday. Absolutely no early check-in unless approved in advance by management.

About Susan Miller

Ken Hilton is the owner of Lost Palms and coming soon, The Hilton. He bought Lost Palms in June of 2015 from the previous owners, looking for a quiet, beachfront retreat for himself and his dog, Boss. When he saw how many families were also enjoying Lost Palms, he decided to keep the rental program going. Loving the Gulf Coast lifestyle, Ken decided he would build another house right next door to Lost Palms to accommodate larger families, calling the new beachfront paradise The Hilton. Feel free to say hi if you see Ken walking Boss along the beach or cruising through Surfside Shores in his motorcoach.

No confirmation that we were booked. No instructions were provided for check out. Poorly run.

Could not get in the first night. Property manager wanted to break in. We had to sleep elsewhere that night because, once we got in, it was filthy. No sheets on beds, no clean towels, dirt and dust everywhere. Dirty linens in the floor of the living room. A/c went out. Surf fishing group of 5-10 each day in front of THIS house blocking the water and refused to move. A nightmare of a “vacation” and “celebration” of our 35th wedding anniversary. So terribly upset and disappointed.

Pro's and Con's

We stayed there for 5 weeks.

First let me say that I think we were the first to stay in the house after the major Freeze.

Pro's Great Location, just a 100 yards to the water. House has a great layout. Large room for Kitchen, Living area, takes up 1/2 of house. 2 bedrooms separated by closets and bath. 2 large decks, top deck is 1/2 sun 1/2 covered. The bottom deck on the ground floor is covered and very nice. Great washer and dryer.

Con's We moved in while the owner was changing Management Company's. I do not know who to point the figure at but there were issues that were never resolved. When we moved in there was a problem with the sewage sub pump that was addressed quickly but the smell of raw sewage stayed with us for the 5 weeks., We also had a problem with the outside plumbing. The deep freeze was not kind to the outside pvc pipe it had over a dozen leaks. Each time you returned from the beach it was a major issue just to wash the sand from your feet. Like I said in the Pro's it had a new Washer and Dryer. The problem was it was down stairs next to the sewage system. Need i say more about the smell of our "CLEAN" Laundry. We had a problem with the phone and internet that was resolved quickly but the phone company ran a wire along the street and the line was still in the gutter when we checked out.

Overall we loved our stay but there were some major communications issues. I called and sent text to the management company and some issues not listed here were fixed. The house is on the market and the real estate company kept trying to show the house while we were there.

Would love to stay there again if these problems were fixed.

We loved our stay at Lost Palms! The house was very clean and was in an excellent location. The view of the water from the house is great! If I had any questions, a response was answered promptly. We had an excellent experience & plan to return soon.

We had to fix a few things/ outside shower & replaced all the light bulbs that were burnt out

Beautiful Home

We had a lovely stay at Lost Palms that even Hurricane Nate couldn’t dampen. This home is very well furnished and kitchen is stocked with everything a person could need.

It was just my husband and I and our four legged child, Bandit .... who I might add loved the window seat.

The only issue we had was we were given the wrong key code to get in. Once that was resolved and Nate moved on along everything was perfect.
